If DMC doesn't play, I'm preemptively chalking this one up as a loss, regardless of Bulls injuries.

I just can't see how we are going to stop Butler in any way, shape or form. Heck, can we even stop Rose and his glass legs?

Gasol is a poor match up for WCS/Koufos, who have struggled mightily defending stretch bigs. Even Taj Gibson has some range on his jumper.

Chicago is one of the best rebounding teams in the league, and even with injuries, they still have Portis, Snell and McDermott on their bench.

To top it off, if DMC doesn't play, that leaves the scoring up to Rudy, who will almost certainly be locked down by Butler.

I really hope we somehow escape with a W, but I'm certainly not confident to say the least.

Games like this is where George Karl earns his money. He and his Assistants will work every matchup angle. I'm predicting a Curry sighting in this game:)

Hey guys, what happened? Boogie is by far the best player of the team, but it's not a bad team at all. I believe that the Kings will take this one. Will I cry if they don't? No, but in my opinion the Kings are the favorites. Chicago is a great team, but they have their problems as well. Rose has become very streaky and may have his off day. They have a rookie coach, who is good, but GK is much more experienced. When it comes to adjustments, I believe GK does them better. It's good that our guys have to play occasionally without Boogie. They have to learn how to take responsibility. Would I prefer the Lakers without Boogie? Sure, but it happens to be Chicago, so let's deal with that.

Chicago is a match-up nightmare for the Kings. I'm not confident at all. I hope the Kings win.

To me, mismatch-up is not the issue with the Kings; just which side of the Kings would show up on that night. Someone said earlier this team is bi-polar, can't agree more.

As you point out, Chicago should have this ne, logically, but I'll be there, open minded, no concerns, because our guys with or without Cuz or anyone are completely unpredictable. Come on Kings, be pleasantly surprised. Cuz, bust your a**, give us 8 assists.

Well I see this a serious test of character for our role players. This IS winnable... so we will see if they team is ready to take the next step forward.

With Mike Dunleavy, Kirk Hinrich, and Joakim Noah out for the Bulls, its a piece of cake.... RIGHT???
Based on our history these are the type of games we lose. A shorthanded team not doing well. (Ie Charlotte) All we need is gasol or butler out and it would be an automatic loss.

Marco, Ben, Kosta and Darren.
Enough of the excuses, you four have been underachieving all damn year long.
It's time to step up. Quit riding DMC's coattail and earn you damn paycheck.

Betting puts it at -1.0 in favor of us. This team is missing fire in their belly showing that they want to be great. I don't know what's going to spark us but something has got to get us going.

Enough of this monkey business. Kings need to man up (next man up) and do what it takes to get the W.
Very funny. ;)

Last game was a curiosity. Not only was Boogie missing but the assist machine named Rondo was absent also. He had almost as many TOs as assists. He made a bunch of threes. What does that mean? Anything can happen in one game and be insignificant in the long run but if this team can at least give a decent fight without Boogie and without the standard Rondo, the rest of the guys should hopefully be able to build on that. (Not that I think they will.)

This one is important, a loss here and we could tailspin into the all star break. A win and we have a chance to get to the all star break with the mentality we "survived" or are carrying momentum into the break ,depending on how we take care of business on the road. Have to try and get 3 of the next 5.

I hope the fact we won without Boogie last game and essentially without the typical Rondo, that we can build on that. Heck, Rondo was hitting corner threes. That skill, if it continues, ought to scare opposing teams. "Toss it into Boogie and pray" is not the worst idea in the world but I want the team to show offensive diversity. We are incredibly predictable. I want Rondo to look for someone else. At least pretend that we have faith in anyone not named Cousins. Even Rudy is not taking the number of shots he should get. (Now I will rush to see if my eye test is backed by stats. :) )

Jimmy Butler should feast in this one but he is their first and second option so you can have him jack up 25+ shots and stop the rest of the team to give yourself a chance to win, with Boogie or without Boogie. That being said, maybe E'twaun Moore can get his career high in this one? or how about Doug McDermott? perhaps Bobby Portis? ahhh who knows, that's the fun and exciting thing about the games!

If Rudy brings his A game from tip off and is assigned to defend Butler, I can see him holding his own on both ends. Contain Butler to below 30 points, keep Rose the inefficient player that he is and win the boards. We'll win this game.

My money is on McDermott and Gasol scorching us.

Rondo's shot looked great. Rondo hitting those jumpers reminded me of when Happy Gilmore learned to put.
