Patterson drives inside and gets the two and the +1.

There are so many fundamental mistakes being made by the Kings that it's actually amazing the score is as close as it is. I don't know who those guys are in the Sacramento uniforms but I wish they'd send our Kings back...

Final score 105-92, I think. Portland scored over 100 for the first time this season.
This was a horrible game and I don't know where to start on whom to blame. There is NO combination of pieces that will get the job done. Adelman tried everything - he just can't pull players out of thin air and we simply do not have the right ones to get the job done.

I would usually say thanks here, but since VF stopped I'm not going to. I didn't see any Kings game this year. I saw one the whole of last year. I really enjoy the PBP as its the only way I get to see what the Kings are like in games. And then when the going gets tough VF just quits, either do the PBP or don't do it at all. Don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful that VF gives up so much of her time for this site, but sometimes it gets frustrating.
Also, I was wrong about the Jan 7th thing. I'm sorry but there is no need for that arrogent old wanker piksi to say that I'm not Christian. I AM CHRISTIAN I'm a Catholic.

WOW - Dime did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed, or what? I can't believe you are pising and moaning at VF! She does the PBP out of kindness, taking her own time to do so - and that is quite a commitment! She doesn't HAVE to - she volunteers...Her PBP is awesome, and really gives me a feel for what is happening when I am at work and can's see TV or hear a radio... but there are other options.... NBA posts a play by play on their website too - but it is no where near as good as VF's. I, for one, think it is terrible that you are acting like it is your God given right to have PBP and calling her a quiter is really pressing my buttons. I consider it a favor that she does it, I appreciate it, I do not take it for granted... and if it becomes overwhellming or God forbid something else in her life jumps up and needs her attention well then of course she is going to stop....

First, I'm not pissing and moaning about VF, I said I'm very grateful that she gives all her time out of the kindness of her heart to give us fans all she can out of this site. Stop twisting my words. Nor did I call her a quitter. Are you trying to get me banned or something?
And NO it was never meant to be an apology to piksi and don't expect me to apologise for saying something wrong. It had nothing to do with piksi and he didn't have to come in and call me a) not educated and b) Not European. I don't think you even know what my post was about, you didn't read what happened. I only said I was sorry for being wrong. I wasn't apologising to piksi in any way. Also I am in Europe so some of the things you suggested would be unusual things to do at this time of day. Don't assume everyone on this site is American.

1) Please take moderation discussions to PMs.
2) I had to go check your post history to find the exchange in question. In retrospect it probably should have been deleted as a personal attack, but I do not hang out watching the PBP thread and VF21 is usually busy doing the PBP itself. If you have a problem wiht a post and its not being addressed, trying shooting a PM or using that little red triangle thing on the bottom left of each post beneath the poster's name -- it autmatically reports a bad post and the message is sent to all the mods' emails.
3) You didn't miss much in this game. The final 5:30 minutes went something like, Price and Skinner continue to hustle for a few more minutes, but are only modestly effective and the lead still grows. At the 4:00 mark Rick says screw it and decides to just try to win it or lose it with his Grade A troops (the starters). The starters bumble around out there holding their own, but never making a move. Peja hits a three from the top of the circle. Then we run out of time. We try fouling them in the final minute, but we're still down 12 and we don't have a TMac on our team to pull off a miracle, so its over. Whoopee.
4) See my PM (coming in a second) about something you might be able to do about not seeing games
5) Piksi is of course respected BECAUSE he's an arrogant old wanker. Not to mention a piksimist and a bit of a sarcastic wit when he's not being a jerk. Doesn't mean he can break the rules any more than anybody else. Just means that he does many things for/on this board other than break them. Again, you have a problem with a post of his report it or send a PM.

And I would actually appreciate it if you don't accuse me of being a Christian (I am currently trying to make up my mind between throwing my alleigance behind Baal Zebub the Lord of Flies, or Mr. Henke the Christmas Poo). So feel free to call me an uneducated infidel whenever you would like if it will make you feel better.

This is arguably the biggest crock I've seen in a long time. You are the one who piped up about the Jan. 7 thing first. If you weren't trying to be a smart-aleck, piksi wouldn't have said anything.
