Greetings, fellow Kings fans!!

Had a great time at the game Tuesday, even though we lost. I got home a little while ago and am in the process of getting a fire going in the woodstove to bring some heat back into the house.

I went back to Arco this morning for MY Black Friday shopping, and ... miracle of miracles ... THE BIG 6 is GONE!!! In its place is a really big soda cup - and I mean like 10 ft. tall. I took a picture of it and will upload it as soon as I get a chance. I was hopoing this might signal an end to the gold uniforms, but they're still all over the place in the team store...

Should be a good game tonight. I hope our very own KF people have a great time at HousePartyLive!

Now, let's get ready for some Kings basketball. I have my coffee brewed - especially important with the temperature outside dropping like a rock - and I've got the purple slippers. I'm warming some vegetable soup with GARLIC because, once again, we know the secret ingredient for success is LOTS of garlic.

Not sure what the cup is supposed to represent. As far as deals go, there were some sale items AND I got a 10% discount good today because I'd purchased something Tuesday night so it was my idea of the perfect Black Friday. And my granddaughters were very happy - it was their first visit (of what will be many, many more) to the home of the Kings.

I'm really liking this more animated, happier Mike Bibby. He's involved with the team to the point where even when Grant and Jerry are talking to him, he stops to watch a particular play by the Kings. He's anxious to get back but fully aware he has to heal completely first. He had a new cast put on this week; it will be on for two more weeks. He says once they take it off he'll have to go through three weeks of rehab before they'll clear him to return to the court.

The chemistry people (including me for a short time) had been worried about is, IMHO, very, very, very much improved.

Martin pass inside to Garcia, who dribbles, dribbles, starts to cut inside, nothing there so he shots. Horrible shot but he gets lucky with a foul call and will head to the line after the time out and commercial.

If Francisco Garcia doesn't learn how to recognize when he doesn't have a shot and try to find the open teammate that has to be out there when he's double-teamed, I'm probably going to have a stroke...
