With our talent, against a Chi team without Rose, and given the way Reke was playing that night, and given tonight this was basically the Minn b-team, without Rubio or Love, we should be 2-0. Instead our guys look pissed off, depressed, confused, and we're 0-2 facing a stacked Ind team tomorrow night.

The beginning of this season was and is crucial to us as it's the easier part of schedule. A 0-3 start and this level of confusion would be terrible for our hopes.

Clearly a team that has regressed not improved. Chuck Hayes is the most overpaid scrub in the league. Whenever he enters the game the team takes a nose dive. Cant score, cant defend, and just fat and slow. Worst player on the club.

The team we have is full of overpaid underperformers. We have drafted poorly for the last 6 drafts. Petrie lost his magic long long ago. It is time to blow this thing up. We have waited far too long for the "Core" of this team to mature. The truth is the CORE is ROTTEN. We still do not have a small forward. Cisco and Outlaw are just not NBA players.

Jimmer is pathetic. Evans is a 2 guard that cant shoot. Cousins is a headcase. Everyone else is a role player that wants to be a star but doesnt have the talent.

This season is going to go just like last season. Down the tubes. Hopefully that will be enough for the Maloofs to blow up the team. GM, Coach, and as many players as you can get rid of. There are no keepers on this roster. No potential allstars. Keep the rookie who has not yet proven to be terrible and blow up the rest of the roster.

Thing is, Smart preaches defense to the media, and then rides a Jimmer/MT/Cisco trio while IT/Reke, better defenders than all three, rot on the bench. He's not even putting decent defensive lineups out there.

Brooks and Jimmer have been abused just about every minute on the court, defensively so far.

its not our talent its our leadership nuff said stop thinking we have players with no talent its just not true we have not had a coach worth a lick in a long long time

Certainly should be a set play moving forward but re-watch this game, that wasn't there for all 46 minutes. Lineups had a lot to do with it along with other factors. The way this team plays makes it way harder for Cousins and Evans to be your primary scorers. Helps IT and other role players score, but that will get you from 5th in the draft to 7th at best. IT could be great for this team but we all know who needs to have the good game and who should be put in position to have a good game.
 
this was my fear and we thought Adleman was an idiot for playing our most talented guys to the point of injury it certainly works better than this stuff#$@#%#@$%^@#$% lol Go Kings!

How can we get better? I don't see Smart having some sort of revelation and putting the best players on the court all of a sudden. I fear we may be just plain stuck. Stuck with the coach for two years, stuck with the the lineups, and stuck losing.

Just don't ask them to go 1 on 4 and wonder why the are having a tough time. I've never seen a team make it so hard for their best players to do what they do. If Cousins wasn't a decent mid-range player he'd look like the biggest bust of all time. Things will tighten up in time, but the powers that be need to think ceiling here, this team has some special pieces, don't waste it.
 
Jimmer was the ONLY player to play even. EVERY other player was at least a -1 while in the game. Well, one player was a -1 while in the game...the rest were way WORSE.

Come on people, try to understand.

That's an absolute lie. Jimmer played solid D and was the only player even for the game in the +/- category. IT was being torched by Barea. Roy torched Reke. Every other player was in the negative while in the game.

lol, come on man...if Harden stays healthy, he is a superstar. Reke does NOT have his skillset nor his fire. Harden with another 45 tonight, Houston 2-0.
 
dude Jimmer sucks, get out of here. if the coach wasnt stupid enough to put Jimmer and Garcia in the game in the first place, the kings would have won
 
the coaching staff should know who to play until the team is ahead and then make changes my analysis will not change go kings!

What talent? Are there any Allstars on this roster? Are there any players that ANY other team would trade a first round pick for? This is a roster of bargain basement free agents and bad draft picks. To think otherwise is to ignore the evidence displayed on a nightly basis on the court.

As was said above, coaching teaches talent how to win together. Coaching doesnt create talent out of no talent players.

It's all off. The whole concept of our offense. Not helping Cuz or Reke. We're making them role players and having them play off our other what should be roles players.

Reke attacking and kicking to Cuz wasn't there because a) he rarely got the ball in a place to attack off his dribble and b) the few times he did there was pee poor spacing and we didn't have shooters spreading the floor. The offense just wasn't set up to even provide that opportunity.

Except you are wrong. Jimmer was getting burned and leaving Barea wide open. Did you see who the high scorer on the other team was? The guy Jimmer was guarding when he was in.
