Kings team in Vegas Summer League

The Kings will again have a team in the Vegas Summer League (VSL), one of 16 teams participating this year. This is pure fun!!! Vegas on the outside and 5 Kings summer team games on the inside. Here is the Kings schedule:

Thu, 6-July, 5:00pm Kings-TWolves
Fri, 7-July, 8:00pm Kings-Hornets
Sun, 9-July, 3:00pm Kings-Raptors
Mon, 10-July, 8:00pm Kings-Knicks
Wed, 12-July, 5:00pm Kings-Mavericks

All games are at the Thomas & Mack Center at UNLV. You can buy tickets now for reserved seats for $22 per game or $170 for a season pass for all 9-days. Seniors & Juniors (they didn't define either) are $12 per game.

P.S. last year, ESPN broadcast 3-4 VSL games. Don't know about this year yet.

Think K-Mart will be out there again this year? I pretty much know for a fact that Garcia will be, and our draft pick, but it would be nice to see Martin out there again working on his game.

CruzDude will be at some games, most likely Fri-Sun-Mon or at least 2 of three. I'll summarize games and players tho' this will be the first year in 11 that I'm not there as a media person. Plus it's so easy to get distracted in Vegas. As the Palms T-Shirt says: "What happens at the Palms............. Never Happened!"

Now that you broached the subject, will Ronnie Price be there again? I think he can stick with the Kings as he is a tenacious defender and very quick up and down the court. Kevin will be playing in the Sacto Summer Pro league in June for sure but hard to guess if he goes to Vegas as he will be way above most of that crowd.

Didn't we sign Ronnie Price for 2 years

I am pretty sure that at the time of his signing that we signed him up for 2 years and Jamal Sampson for 1 year.

Going by that, I would suspect that Garcia and Price are just about certainties to play in Vegas Summer League for us
