[Game] Kings @ Suns Game Thread 11/12/2010

Beno is, and has always been one of the worst defensive guards in the league, no surprise what happened tonight, BTW wtf happened to Donte and JT? why are they in the doghouse?

Man oh man. I somehow thought this team would actually be a decent squad this season.

I think I was drunk that night.

As a Kings fan since '85, this is an embarrassment to watch this team struggle so mightily, and regress from the last 2 years of purgatory.

At least the past 2 years I could tell they were not playing their hardest, and easily could have pulled out quite a few more wins than they did.

This year's Kings are obviously trying about as hard as they can, and they simply are incapable of even looking coordinated for more than 6 minutes a night.

Players are completely unsure as to where they should be on the court, and they look like they're stuck in molasses -they are SO slow to react to the ball, it's absurd.

They have completely squandered ALL the interest they generated over the summer, and now are in danger of losing long-term fans to this malaise.

Suns are just a better team. With Nash directing the offense and Cousins as the last line of defense, forget about it. Game over.

Nash thing is not only Beno`s fault! Look how the Kings defend or better not defend pick n roll. Beno or anybody else can do nothing if there is absolutely no help from the big guys! Kings have problems guarding pick n roll and it seems like Beno is exposed every single game but I haven`t seen any particular plan so far how to defend pick n roll and when it comes to the master Nash....it is like this.

The most fustrating part for me isn't the loss, or the number of points we lost by, but the fact I really don't see any positives from this game. Last year I could usually take a few positives away from games, mostly from losses. None of our young guys are playing up to their present potential. Tyreke played well, but still isn't aggressive enough. Omri is hot and cold. All the other young guys are stuggling and glued to the bench.

I am not liking seeing Wright and Head getting minutes while JT and Donte can't get off the bench. I expect plenty of ups and downs this year, and our win-loss record to reflect that. But at the very least I want to see our young guys, the core, our future, to show improvement, and at least appear to be moving in the right direction.

This is what concerns me. Its not that he isnt aggressive enough, but i think that he is sort of stuck between trying to play as a point while at the same time doing what he does best - scoring. Makes me really wonder if he would be more fit to the play 2 instead of trying to run the offense.

We still lack talent badly. This from everything I see and hear is turning into a train wreck. My teams sure know how to get my hopes up every year.

They did not look like an NBA team tonight, or the last few games for that matter. They simply look apathetic, not going after balls, making one sloppy play after another, not reacting on defense until the other team already puts the ball through the hoop. They just look lost, disconnected and confused. I think there are serious locker room issues right now, and until they get solved, they are going to keep looking like this. We might be facing a worse season than last year.
