He's a terrible 1st option when he gets the ball on the perimeter. He's much better when he has length on the guy he is guarding, and when he catches the ball in the mid-post area. Problem is, he won't be able to get a lot of these looks if our lineup is small on the side of big men (two small guards is fine) as well as if there isn't that much shooting on the floor.

Good, hope he can find his niche there and be productive. Plus even if he doesn't can't do as much damage to team there as when starting.

It sucks that they have all types of guys who can match up against him. They have Tucker who has the overall size and strength to defend him. They have Morris who has the size and length to defend him. Then they also have TJ Warren who's on the lighter side, but he's lanky.

Not a good matchup for Rudy at all.

This is true.

He tends to force it as first option as well though, it's more than just where he gets the ball.

But you make good points, the Suns do have his number.
