Greetings, fellow Kings fans!

Tonight the Kings are going to bounce back from whatever that was in Dallas last night... and I think that's about enough said about the Dallas game.

;)

It's very cold tonight here in the forest, but it's warmer than it's been the past couple of evenings. Crisp, clear nights with a north wind and plummeting temperatures mean the very real possibility of pipes freezing so I've had to leave a faucet running every night. Then in the morning, we face the joys of black ice... I'll be glad to see snow or rain. This chill isn't much fun.

I've got a fresh pot of coffee brewing in the kitchen and I just lit a fire in the wood stove, so I'm just about ready for the evening. I've got my purple slippers and my Kings blankey so I feel prepared to battle the elements. Now if it were just that easy for the Kings to battle the Spurs.

:)

Remember, we have piksi's game discussion thread and chat over at mIRC, server irc.bludgeon.org, channel #kingsfans so you can share your joys and/or frustrations with your fellow Kings fans.

KHTK has gone to streaming audio so those of you who have never experienced the Grant Napear/Mike Lamb show can now listen in. Games are blacked out, of course, because of NBA audio league pass, but you can still afford yourselves - if so inclined - of the opportunity to hear Rant and Lambchop at their best (or worst).

I'm thinking good thoughts about tonight's game.

GO KINGS!!!

Grant just spent a couple of minutes talking to Ronnie Price. It seems THE DUNK is being mentioned as a possible contender for an ESPY as dunk of the year. (Way cool!) Price didn't pretend he wouldn't want it; instead, he grinned and said, "Hey, if they want to do it, I'm not gonna turn it down!"

I like that kid; I like his attitude; and I think he's going to play himself into a pretty good job here with the Kings.

:)

Grant and Jerry just announced that Artest will sit this one out...do you think this is another sign of dissatisfaction on Ron's, or the Coach's part? It just doesn't smell right.

Do I think it's dissatisfaction? Erm, no. I think it's Ron's back. Having seen him in person a few games ago, he is NOT playing at 100%.

If you want to discuss this, you'll have to use another thread. ;)

This one is dedicated to the play-by-play. Thanks.
