What the 4-5 rebounds he had a direct part in? Or the save of the full court play by the Sonics? ;)

Offensively he is what he is but we really can't judge anything on that level in 4 minutes of garbage time. He should get minutes.
I didn't say he shouldn't get minutes. What I said was based on what I saw - which included NOTHING on offense - I could see why he hadn't gotten any PT. Pure defense just doesn't seem to fit in with the plans.

I liked his hustle and his heart, which I made sure to point out.

Obviously....

Price and Williams are not showing enough in practice to get in the game, because Muss has said time and time again he rewards the players who work hard and do there thing in practice with playing time during the games.

this season is going to be a total freaking waste and we're going to either finish just out of the playoffs or get ourselves booted out in the first round and then we'll draft some lame duck at the 15th pick, essentially getting the franchise nowhere but stuck in mediocrity.

yeah, but you never know what the heck lies ahead in the next week...trading looms, perhaps...things might get a little more interesting than 'current face value'.

Maybe our guys can increase their trade value with the wins? I dunno, hopefully anyway. I agree with your post though.

When I went to the new Kings website, I noticed that their poll still had Mo Taylor as an option for the player we were the most excited about. Like anybody would ever choose that...

The next day his name was gone, so I wrote to the web folks approving of the change. I also asked that Ronnie Price and Justin Williams be added to the list, since their names were inexplicably absent. I was thinking maybe I could finagle a clue for the front office.

No response so far.

If we didn't have owners like the Maloofs, I might agree. But the very fact our owners are flamboyant and exuberant and love the spotlight might work in our favor. They won't want the team to be stuck in mediocrity... and I don't think Petrie does, either. People are assuming, once again, that the front office is doing nothing but complacently watching. I don't think it's true and I don't think it can even be supported. Absence of visible action doesn't mean absence of total action.

You can believe it's all going to hell in a handcart if you wish. I'm going to continue to hold out hope until there's no hope to be held and then I'll find some more.

If Chicago Cubs fans can do it, so can I.

;)
