Oh well, plus this Houston win means Kings might have a lower draft pick with the first rounder they got from them. Edited - my bad

On the other hand it potentially helps us keep a lower one with our own pick. This was always a two edged sword game. But as much as I would like to see the Houston pick closer to #22 than #25, I think its more important that the high pick be as high as possible than the lower pick.

We're totally going to get a breakout year from both JT and Hawes next season.

If we draft Griffin, I say we trade him to plug a different lineup hole. Our young bigs are beastly enough. No need for a log jam.

JT has to stop leaking out on D to cherry pick though. If he hit the defensive glass like he hits the offensive....12 rpg easily.

Griffin for Durant str8 up :p

During the game I was perusing the Rockets forum, Clutchfans.net and some interesting comments were how Spencer Hawes who had 22 pts and 11 boards against Yao Ming reminds them of Dirk Nowitzki - and at 20 years of age is better than Dirk at that age. A lot of them think their PG Brooks is just flat dumb in his new starting role and could be Rockets downfall if there's another quick playoff exit. Rarely a whimper of any criticism at all of Artest who is seen as Houston's savior with no T-Mac.

Actually, they criticize Artest as well. They probably didn't tonight because he shot a good percentage.

The Rockets must be doing something right because they've won 51 games so far this year. Overall, I think Adleman has made very good choices with what he has.

Adelman has made VERY good choices I'd say, he's had a TON of injuries to deal with again, just like he had so many times here, and yet he still produces a 50 win team. But he doesnt call the owners enough to give them power point updates and chai tea after every game, so I guess he's no good.

haven't watched this and the only thing I wanna know about this game is - was Artest welcomed by the fans in Arco during the introductions?

There was a decent cheer, but nothing huge. About the same as the cheer for Yao, in fact. No booing that I noticed. Adelman got a similar cheer as well.

That's what Adelman does. He gets you 50+ wins. Just wasn't good enough for Joe and Gavey.
