Kings' Players NBA-wide Positional Ranks -- Point Guard

Well, in response to a trolly feeling thread on a somewhat similar topic, I thought I would start a series of more interesting ones just to see where peeps heads are.

So, for the upcoming season, where would you rank Tyreke Evans amongst the league's PGs?

Only problem with that is how you view what's best a pure passing of or one that creates points and scores. I mean tyreke is gonna score more than Rhondo but does that push rondo to the back or tyreke because of assist? Then you got the pg that rebound how does that factor in. Tureked 20/5/5 average would put him in top 5 to me if you factor in all around play.

Rondo, Wall, Rose, Westbrook, Parker and Paul are better, in no particular order. I'd put him in the same cat as Curry and Felton (maybe).

The Lockout is still on. I and 29 other people have been selected to be general managers for the Lockout League, which will play a bracket-style tournament (3 game series at each slot) to determine the Lockout League champion. (Let's say two foreign teams are entered to bring it to 32 teams.) After that, the regular NBA season will start with regular NBA teams and the Kings still have Tyreke. (This gets the hope/future value out of the equation.) The GM of the winning team in the Lockout League will be awarded $1M. (This gets loyalty out of the equation.) Ignoring other details of the draft, in the first round all managers must draft a PG from the list above. I don't yet know what slot I draft in; how do I rank the players for the Lockout League?

I would move Wall into the next tier up, but overall I think I agree. I'm also considering moving Westbrook up as well, because he has a Jason Kidd triple-double feel to his game.

I really think that a year from now Wall will be up in that next tier, but he shot poorly enough in his rookie year that I want to see that go up first.

This is going to be a very big year for Tyreke.

If he can increase his shooting % that should make it easier for him to get into the lane as well as open up the passing lanes a bit more.
I think that overall his assists should increase due to the increased quality of shooting by his teammates.

I'd like to see 45-46% shooting along with around 8 assists this season. I think those numbers are managable if he can stay healthy, and if he can hit those targets then I'd be willing to consider moving him closer to a top 5 spot.

I worry that health will be an anchor tied around Tyreke's ankles, limiting his effectiveness.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Tyreke in the bottom 10. And I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the top 10 either. A lot of it has to do with his health. He's starting already on a bum ankle. If he has this issue again, he's easily a bottom dweller. But if he's healthy and he's improved his jump shot moderately, top 10.

Here's my top ten:

1. Rose
2. Paul
3. D. Williams
4. Nash (if he were younger I'd have him in a battle for number 1 with Rose)
5. Rondo
6. Kidd (his days are numbered, but until then, he deserves this spot)
7. Westbrook
8. Evans (He and Westbrook are very close. The edge in assists goes to Westbrook. Neither could shoot from the outside last season)
9. Wall (he still has a long way to go, but there is no way I'm putting a Felton or a Stucky ahead of him)
10. Curry (I almost had him at number 9, but rightly or wrongly, I gave the edge to Wall on overall potential)

I would expect that next year at this time, the order will get some rearranging.
