James Jones

Why for Kings? They bring in a good shooter to bring them fire power off the bench.

Why for Phoenix? They bring in a big body to help and they bring in Jason hart who could be a good fit for a team like Phoenix.

Phoenix already has all the backup PGs they need, and they consider Jones a pretty important piece I think after shipping out all of their OG/SFs over the summer.

We could probably get Jim Jackson back to Sacto again if we tried. But at his age I have doubts about the utility of that.

Would love to have JJ back...still not over losing him in the first place.

I really think a move is going to be made here. Corliss could be moved for a vet SG/SF type player. He isn't getting mins behind SAR and KT anyway, so moving CW would work.

It would be great to see Jim Jackson back in a Sac uniform :) I think Phoenix might consider this they need more help up front then they do in scoreing they already have Eddie house and Jim Jackson to be in that role.

Kurt Thomas and Brian Grant are old they need someone young to help that frontcourt.

Yeah Suns already got their play-making guys set: Diaw, Barbosa, House (not as much as the other two obviously). Don't think Hart would be a good fit for Phoenix in general. Sharrod Ford is in Sampson's spot.

I agree. Depth at swingman is a hole.

I just don't see it happening. Sampson is pretty much an unproven commodity ...

All in all, this would vastly favor the Kings and there's no logical reason on earth for Phoenix (or any other team) to do anything to help the Kings solve their problems without getting a significant advantage in return.

It's not gonna be easy to find a way to better our bench. If anything, I strongly suspect Petrie is in the process of doing what he's done before - making phone calls to guys who are currently sitting at home or flipping burgers somewhere. He seems to do that with regularity and a certain degree of success, and I'm hoping he has a few more rabbits left in that hat.

Indeed. There are some guys out there.

Sorry, but getting Kobe wouldn't solve any of our problems. In fact, the way our team is currently structured, it would only make things worse - especially if the whole bench was shipped to LA.

Not bad ;)

And how long do you think they can go 48 minutes a night?

Remember, our whole bench - such as it is/was - is now in LA.

;)

Can we at least stop the trade ideas until the 20-25th game.

You mean, until the season cannot be saved and most of our guys have lost their trade value and Peja will walk anyway? Or- trades will no longer be necessary because the team turned it around. Either way, now is the time to talk trades, more than any other time.

so the short answer is "no"

Get Oscar Robertson back then we will win a championship!
SF: Peja Stojakovic
PF: Shareef Abdur-Rahim
C : Brad Miller
SG: Bonzi Wells
PG: Oscar Robertson
:D :D :D
