Go Kings!

And to the officials who were overseeing the game against the San Antonio Spurs, my sincerest condolences. I've decided to get you a little gift:

Didn't catch the beginning of the game.

Anyone know how badly Spencer Hawes was hurt?
Looked bad at first but he ended up shooting the free throws. They took him to the locker room to examine him after he shot the FT's and word seems to be it isn't serious but he's out for tonight and maby next game.

I was wondering why Hawes didnt get more minutes considering his beastly line in 6 minutes. I just kinda chalked it up to Natt being an ijjit....I hope the injury isnt too serious.

Also....Ike! Whoa...Any reason he hasnt been getting more minutes? Wait, thats right...Natts an ijjit.

I was surprised that we never gave Ike/Simmons any real looks after they came over, even turning to Calvin Booth first. But the truth is that NOBODY has given Ike any looks, for a reason. His career averages are 5.8pts 3.0rebs, and he has played for 4 teams in 3 years. Not like Natt was the first guy not to play him. Natr McMilan though he was worth all of 3.8min a game up in Portland.

Meh...We got JT, Hawes, and possibly another young big stud on the way in the draft. So no reason to build up Ike outta desperation, like a couple seasons ago when some of us thought Justin Williams was the second coming (myself included haha...but hey, I was blinded by the awfulness of our frontcourt).

As far as I'm concerned when we've given him minutes he produces. If he is willing to accept a 2-3 mil contract i would have no problem resigning him. He is the type of big body we need down there. Plus if we end up passing on Griffin we are going to need a backup PF of some sort next season. Best to use our money on a young player whose shown some life than give it to one of those aging veteran rental FA the Maloofs were talking about...
