After a grueling start to the week, including media day followed by two-a-days on Tuesday and Wednesday, the Sacramento Kings hit the floor for their eighth practice in five days Saturday afternoon. Here are some of the highlights from the fifth day of training camp in Sacramento.

This is absolutely the year he translates being a multi-year repeating practice All-Star to a real game on the court performer.

For sure. 100%. Definitely.

Well, I mean, he’s still only 25. I guess it’s possible that he can put something together that resembles a serviceable player

Surprising. I think we are going to have a deep rotation, but Ben is literally the last I would’ve suspected would be in it (way in back of Shumpert and even Yogi at the 2). I left Mr low BBIQ for dead. But interesting if he could prove us all wrong in the end

Ben played some of his best basketball during the end of the 2016-17 season under coach Joeger. He played like a very serviceable swingman.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Ben become a solid bench SG/SF and occasional fill in starter for the Kings.

He is still only 25 and can still put together a solid career, if he can play within Joeger's system.

He's a better shooter than Shumpert.

One thing I noticed in the media interviews was Ben's confidence and demeanour. He always struggled with that. This time he was more articulate and natural then I've ever seen him. It's possible that he has had a lightbulb moment and that he is not overwhelmed anymore. He's still young enough to have a solid career and has the physical tools to go along with it. It could be a good opportunity for Ben here. Would certainly be a nice bonus.

But a much worse defender with a low BBIQ. I doubt that has changed much.

Bens best showing was that season we fired Mike Malone. He was actually playing well, then he regressed. I bet he could be serviceable again under the right circumstances.

I'm sure the Kings will find a way to re-sign him to a 70 million dollar contract. I don't care if Ben comes in looking like the second coming of Jordan, it's too risky and they have a SG of the future already until they waste him away too.

Be a great shooter, a great defender with high bball IQ and great athleticism......yeah all of that would be nice. He'd be a star. Be good at a couple of things and then you're serviceable.

I was careful not to say anything too positive about Ben. I think I did well.
