Kings New Year Resolutions

These are personal inputs only and do not represent any source of information other than mine own eyes and my own noggin. :cool:

1. I, DC, will become a mentor for Mo Evans and Kevin M and push them and assist them to see who can earn the right to become my replacement at SG.

2. I, Coach, will break my long standing objection to playing rookies and give Daniels, Martin and Barnes (not a rookie actually) playing time with the first string, at least 10 minutes a game.

3. I, Geoff the GM, resolve to see this through with the team until we can get to the NBA finals and to pull off an amazing trade in January that will help us more than the other team.

4. I, Pedja, will make every effort to get 4 offensive rebounds a game and to rotate better on defense.

5. I, B52, will make the paint mine and no one elses and demonstrate that no more easy layups can be had by anyone.

6. I, CWebb vow to become the leader in consistency by demonstration.

I, CruzDude, vow to keep up my objectivity, keep loving the NBA team game (as much as the all too frequent hot shots can allow which may not be as much as last year) and watch every game on satellite going now into my 16th year as a Kings fan.

In part, my first two resolutions started to get fulfilled in the Jazz game. Oh boy, so soon too!

I don't think we necessarily need #3, primarily because I don't think we need to make an amazing trade... but that's only because I don't want to see any of this current roster leave this soon!!!

Hey, I dont want anyone to leave either, but if it'll help the team Id like to see it happen.

Actually, I didn't get this one. Is he vowing to see it through with this team until the finals? or is he pulling off an 'amazing' trade?

How about we just cut to the chase and they all vow to win the Championship?
 
Kingsgurl.... both and, and.... well on second thought I like the first half of #3 now. As KM and Mo and maybe one more get going, it may prove to be fuel needed to get over the top. Notice how none of the starters played more than 29 minutes!!!! That's a first this year.
