There's no doubt that Casspi is playing better than Donte at this point, but how can a coach expect consistency from his young players if he is not consistent in his decisions? Just a couple of weeks ago he defined Casspi's role as the offensive spark off the bench. Now Donte's confidence will sink even more, and Casspi, who seemed quite comfortable in his newly defined role, can find himself confused again in the starters unit and his confidence may get hurt too.

Well, I guess if Westphal is going to change it up tonight would be the night. Better to add 2 players to your starting lineup at once (Casspi and Evans ) than adding 2 players at different times.

This does say alot though, and you have to question if Westphal knows what he is doing. He doesnt start Casspi ONCE all preseason .. even started Wright and Marcus Landry over him, and know he is starting. What does that say about his ability to evaluate talent?

I agree. I also agree that we need a quality system - doesn't have to be the triangle, something like what Jerry Sloan or George Karl run would be great.

There are only two players I would have ever expected that from: Greene and Garcia.
 
maybe this is the rotation westphal wanted all along, and wwe should throw the last game out the window. of course that's only a guess.
