if i remember correctly, Gargamel(i'm not sure though) posted of what could be a change for next season's unis as well as logos for the team. Anyone heard more about this yet? i just checked out the Kings store @ NBA.com & saw that most of the warmers & a few jerseys are up for clearance sale. may just be coincidence & i'm sure they do it every year though. i might be wrong. anyone hear anything about such?

Seriously, at this point I think the Maloofs have a lot bigger problems facing them than whether or not to bring back the black jerseys. If they do adapt them as an alternative road jersey (which is what the previous black jerseys were) I suspect it's their marketing people who will make the decision, not Joe and Gavin.

Don't get too excited quite yet. I'd like some confirmation from someone else who saw the telecast. I do know Hart and Price were holding up the numbers 3 and 7. I just THINK the jerseys were black.



P.S. If this turns out to be true, BTW, then it will confirm something Kingsgurl was told by someone at Sports Fever right before the end of the playoffs last season...

Although I can't find any photos online of Price and Hart's press conference, this picture from the Bee shows Price with his new Kings jersey which, unfortunately, is purple.

I mentioned in another thread that I got a VERY QUICK glimpse of them holding up their new uniforms. Their numbers registered right away - Gerald Wallace on the left and Keon Clark on the right. It was only after the picture had switched that my fevered brain said, "Hey, wait a minute. Were those jerseys BLACK?"

If you saw purple, I can tell my fevered brain to shut up and go back to sleep.

Now that I think about it VF, I'm positive they were purple because I remember remarking to myself at the time that I wished they were black and that if they were going to go with black I though to myself that they would first showcase the new jerseys with guys other than Hart and Price.
