[Game] Kings @ Mavericks - 3/3/16 - 5:30 PT, 8:30 ET

It's like Karl didn't watch the game film from last game here. The 4th is identical. Switching, letting JJ Barea shoot a layup, PG on Dirk for no reason...

It worked for ONE game. Mavericks did everything in their power to give this game to the Kings and even then...the Kings still didn't want it enough. By default however, someone has to take it.
I gotta ask: it sure as hell seems like you post some variation of this post for every single Kings win. It kinda makes me wonder how immaculate the Kings would have to play in order for you to give them credit for a win, rather than making it about whatever you think the other team didn't do?

Karl is an idiot - he woke up 5 yrs ago and was like im not learning or adding to my style. We play like this and thats that. He hasnt watched tape or learnt anything in years

It seems like it because usually when the Kings win, it's not in spite of their defense. It's in spite of the opposition missing open shots, as Dallas did tonight. Nothing more, nothing less. Do you consider their play any different then last night in Memphis? how about versus San Antonio? how about Oklahoma City?

"And let that be a lesson to you all. Nobody beats Vitas Gerulaitis Sacramento 17 23 times in a row."

but remember...according to Popovich, he's a great coach. So it must be true that he can still be a great coach in this era of basketball!

Maybe I do, maybe I don't. I wouldn't have gone through the trouble of making a post to point it out, at any rate.

coaches all stick together. Not one coach has ever said anything bad about another. its just the way it is

No. Rewatch this game. He was playing much better on ball defense. He still got switched on Dirk WAY too often but he was engaged tonight.

The only reason that may be is because he played his former team. I remember as a Maverick he has his best game as a Mav when he played the Celtics at TD Garden.

I wouldn't say that.....Before Karl got hired as coach on the Kings, hel had an incredible winning record........You really can't argue with that....I just think Sacramento isn't a good "fit" for him. But the man has a great track record as a coach...

true. he is well respected for it as he should be but man theres some huge gaps in his philosophy, in my mind some real competency issues. But that bygone Karl from Seattle, i would have loved to pick his brain
