Kings-Magic PBP thread for Jan. 21

Welcome, fellow Kings fans!

I don't know about the rest of you but that victory on Thursday sure made Friday a good day! People talking about our Kings again, and saying good things, was a nice way to spend the day.

This is the first game of a 6-game road trip, with stops in Orlando, Miami, Philadelphia, New York, Boston and Toronto. I'd lile to see us at least break even but I will, of course, accept 4-2, 5-1 or even 6-0.

During the game, you have a variety of options available for your Kings fan enjoyment. There is, of course, this thread - the PBP - where I, the ultimate Kings homer but fair-minded observer , will give you as close a description of the action as my little fingers and dial-up connection will allow.

One very popular thread around here is piksi's game discussion thread. If you haven't checked out, please do so. Our piksi has become quite the basketball analyst, IMHO, and always has an interesting (to say the least) take on the upcoming game.

I'm cooking my famous garlic clam chowder for afternoon/evening consumption. In addition, I've got coffee brewing and a Corona Extra chilling in the frig. Plenty of firewood inside for the stove means I'll be nice and warm even though it's pretty chilly outside.

1. I'm not a real heavy drinker. A Corona is pretty significant for me. The only time I seem to be able to have more than one is when I'm at Arco.

2. Nothing has been said about Bonzi playing tonight. There is NO need to rush him back at this point, IMHO. We want to make sure that groin tear is completely and totally healed.
