Buddy is very valuable to this team because he's probably the one guy who can single handedly erase the other team's lead, or open up a big lead for us, within a few short minutes. He gets hot and bangs in a few threes, and it can be a complete momentum shifter. He's not the perfect player but he is very valuable within this current team.
Also wanted to add that Buddy's not the one dimensional player that he was when we got him. He's expanded all aspects of his game and seems driven to be great. Now if he can just cut down on the brain-fart turnovers, he'd really be something.

This would be an example of the Kings being tenacious on defense. They kept up the pace in a back to back. They are a handsy team that deflects the ball a lot. They seem to have some trouble securing loose balls and defensive rebounds, but they are playing much better on defense and rebounding better. Their offense is legit and puts pressure on the defense.

One of the reasons that the Magic shot poorly from three is that the Kings are now extending the defense to the arc. They got a hand in the face. Then Orlando started to doubt themselves. Credit the improved defense for a win like last night.

Single out the Fox for showing toughness, Buddy for working really hard at both ends, and Bejelica for keeping the pedal to the metal. Willie is showing up every night. Could be the fastest big man in the league. Williams came out of now where to make plays when we needed it. This was a great team win. The effort level is so much better. Winning solves a lot of problems.

The fact that the members of the greatest show on court are all still good friends working together and going out for wine and stogies after games after almost twenty years is enough to bring a sentimental tear to the eye.

One of the things I've always loved about this team. No one ever wants to come here, but once they get here and play it becomes like a second home. Vlade, Peja, and Christie are involved directly with the team (for better or worse) and you still routinely see guys like Bobby Jackson, Brad Miller, Mike Bibby, Scott Pollard, Kenny Thomas, Corliss, etc at games and around the city. I even saw Kevin Martin at that sneaker shop Kxcks across from the arena last year. We may not have the most winningest culture, but there is a lot to be said for a franchise that treats players well enough that they want to stick around.

Bobby Jackson also works for the team as a scout.
