Welcome, fellow Kings fans!

It's not quite like it used to be, but tonight's game will still stir old memories. At least we're going into this game on the tails of a 2-game win streak. It might not make a ton of difference, but having beaten the Suns so completely had to have given the players a bit more confidence in themselves and each other.

I am, to be totally honest, not at all sure about bringing Peja back tonight and having SAR play limited minutes. It's gotta be more than a little deflating to have the game of your career/season and then be almost immediately relegated back to the bench. I hope it all works out.

Today is a beautiful, crisp COLD day here in the forest. The temperature on my front porch this morning was a balmy 24 degrees. Luckily I remembered to leave one of the faucets on just enough to prevent the pipes from freezing.

Since tonight is the second game of the Thursday TNT double-header, we'll undoubtedly be treated to the wit and wisdom of Charles Barkley. But that's not my main worry. I'm just hoping Bill Walton isn't going to be in Arco. Although, to be honest, after recent comments from a certain local red-headed broadcaster, I might actually prefer hearing Walton who is at least consistent in his inconsistencies.

I have a special request for all Kings fans who will be following the game via this PBP or posting comments in piksi's game discussion thread. If a troll appears, PLEASE use the "refer a post" immediately. DO NOT send me a PM. I have limited bandwidth and if I have to open a PM, it slows down the posting of the PBP thread. I can handle the problems easier if you use the refer a post.

Along with the PBP thread, and the game discussion, we have Mr. S£im's CHAT PARTY LIVE at mIRC, servcer irc.bludgeon.org, channel #Kingsfans. Trolls won't be a problem there, either. Mr. S£im runs a tight ship when it comes to trouble-makers. ;)

Everything that happens here at Kingsfans.com is because of the dedication and generosity of our board owner, Jeremy. If you would like to help defray some of the costs of keeping KF up and running as the #1 Sacramento Kings Online Community, please take a minute and read about becoming a Contributing Member. You're under no obligation to do so, of course. We're grateful for all our loyal members, whether contributing or not, whether lurkers or active, etc. We're hear because we love this team and we're always glad to welcome more fans onto our bandwagon. It's already a really big wagon there's always room for more fans.

GO KINGS!!!!!

GO KINGS!!!!!

I have the same concern. The last two games have been fun to watch... I almost hate to see them mess with the chemistry now. I am hoping for the best. Hopefully Peja and SAR and heatlhy enough to contribute and bring good energy and hopefully RA still gets minutes to the other guys who deserve them. It's a lot to ask, I know, but, hey that's why he gets the big bucks.;)

Listening to Marv Albert on TNT right now pretty much means, I think, that Bill Walton is in Arco...

Detroit certainly handling the Knicks without much trouble. I don't think we'll have to worry about the early game running into overtime.

;)
