GSW turn out not to be even a snack which is good because Kings are still hungry

On February 23rd 2001 Kings won a triple overtime thriller in Toronto 119 - 118 to improve to 36 - 17 for the season. Pedja lead Kings with 39/12/3/2st, Vlade followed with 25/6/3 (Vlade actually took 22 shots), DC has 20/7/3/3st, Scott had 19/17/2/4blk and JWill had 5/3/6. The bench did not do much and was outscored by Murray (18 - 16).
Peja Stojakovic scored a career-high 39points and drilled the go-ahead 3-pointer with 45 seconds to play in triple-overtime as the exhausted Sacramento Kings pulled out a 119-118 triumph over the Toronto Raptors. Stojakovic hit 14-of-29 shots, including 6-of-10 3-pointers --none more important than the 23-footer from the right corner
that put Sacramento ahead to stay.
"It was a set play," he said. "I saw Jerome Wiliams on me, but I was too tired to think about it. I just let it go. I was so happy to see it go down, so we could finally win the game."
"Scot Pollard was terrific," Adelman said. "He was so good allnight long. Our guys executed the last shot to perfection. It was a great win for us. I'm very proud of the guys."
The game featured a whopping 33 lead changes and 26 ties.

Kings at 25 - 29 climbed the standings a bit and they are currently 10th in the Western conference smelling the "PO blood" The home winning streak is up to 8 and Kings are also 7 - 3 in the last 10 games for the first time this season. Also not the bottom of the pacific anymore. Thins definitely look positive for now and it would be a heuge momentum booster if we are to win the next 2 games before heading east - on a "neverending" road trip. Also winning those 2 game would put us in the 9th position applying a heuge amount of pressure on the Lakers that are so ripe and ready like they have never been before

I am sure that most of You still remember the last game vs. LA pretty well.
It was crazy around here because nothing and absolutely nothing unites the Kings fans like beating the Lakers and that is with the rivalry being dead and all.

Little over 24 hrs till trade deadline and "nothing happened yet" Something will happen. Just think about the all the insomnia that some GMs are already suffering from. The fingers are itchy to pull a triger. Some GM will make a dumb/retarded decision (porbably employed by Knicks). It will be exciting 24 hrs and I will be very happy when they are over so we can finally focus on basketball.

It has been almost a month since we made a trade and it works well for us.
Numbers/stats mean nothing. It is also compleately irrelevant how Pedja and Pacers are doing. The fact is that Kings play better with Artest and we win more with Artest. Reasnos for that are irellevant also. That should be the only measuring stick - that we need to consider. And it will stay that way unless/until Artest goes Artest. There is nothing we can do about. If it happens - happens - we were aware of the risks. Still somebody please make sure that he continues to take those pills.

Dear Ron - we might not speak the same language or use the same spelling but I just want to point out that this game is kinda important for the Kings. So, this would be a great opportunity for You to earn more respect and support from the fans. Shouldn't be too hard for You. You just have to do - what You do best. You will be facing maybe a biggest Kings killer of all time and will You please make sure that he doesn't kill us again. Personally, I don't really care what methods you will use to do so. Just get it done. Thanks.

Just want to say that the Kings fans sure appreciatd You efforts in the last game. We dare You to show some consistancy and do it again. So, Lamar feel free to drive inside al much as You want as long as You don't look where You are going. Luke - keep shooting the ball. You miss 100 % shots You don't take and You also miss 100 % shots - You take. As You can see - it does not really make a difference either way for You. might as well keep shooting. Kwarme - just be Yourself man- just be yourself.

Last game we beat/destroyed/annihilated the GSW. That wasn't nice with them being our neighbors an all. They sucked and then they suddendly got worse to a point when they were dominated by Jason Hart. Only positive thing beside the W that we can take out of that game is the fact that there wasn't any serious injury considering that KT hasn't hurt anything that he needs or uses for rebounding the ball.

TNT is selling our game as a part of "rivalry week" Hypocrits - didn't they say that there was never one because we never actually beat them ? Well, we played LA on TNT the last time so it is a good sign. Here is what You should expect tomorow night. They will focus on te trades that happened. CB will obviously take this opportunity to bash everything and everyone. Then the first game might be interesting and hopefully no OT. Also I hope that Steve Kerr will be there. The the moment of the night arrives. CB will pick a winner of the game and if he picks us - we are screwed. I have a bad feeling that he might just do that. Also he will say it once again how there is no rivalry and there never was one. Shut up Charles ! Then we will have to listen to KH and DC but it won't be that bad considering the alternatives.
The game will be over about 2 am ET and I have to get up at around 6 am so there will be no sleep - Kings better win this one.

Well, considering the meaning of the game and the fact that we have off til Monday - We should expet the 48 + minutes of 7 man rotation. Kobe vs. Ron matchup should be great but I am worried about early foul trouble. Lakers have only one player that is any good and if he doesnt beat us nobody else will on that team. The refs will suck big time and we will have to live trough it. We need to rebound well and things will be fine.
