Min reason we do it is to get rid off some bad contracts for a bad contracts that runs for a year less and get some young talent in return.

David Lee would be rad. As would Frye. Steve Francis is still youngish (30). Who knows, with the right coach and a little perspective after his last two seasons riding the pine a bit, maybe he could change? Stranger things have happened. His salary would be an absolute noose, though.
