First and foremost, thanks to Bballkingsrock for stepping in for me Friday! You did a great job, Bball!! Thank you!!!

Now, about the game. As you've probably read in the Injury Report thread, we will most likely be without Brad, Bonzi and perhaps Ron this afternoon... I don't know about anyone else, but at this point I just hope the remaining players don't get struck by meteorites or things falling from airplanes on their way into Arco.

Today has to be an interesting day for most sports fans. I have to stay in Kings mode and then, right after the game, switch into "GO SEAHAWKS!" In case you're wondering, I am still a 49er fan but my son-in-law is ecstatic as a Seahawks fan and he made me promise I'd root for his team. Since he's the father of my two little princesses I figure it's the least I can do...

I - and probably every other Kings fan on the planet - am certainly hoping for a different fourth quarter than what we saw Friday. We do have one thing in our favor - Greg Ostertag is a lot like Vlade when it comes to early games.

It's beautiful up here in the forest. Crisp blue sky ... and COLD! I think pretty much every snowmobile owner who isn't a football fan went by my house early this morning for a day of riding the slopes on the fresh snow.
