the Clippers game pissed me off
------------------------------------------------
The game against the Clippers sucked as a fan. It sucked because you knew the team was better, and even when they were down you thought ' oh well they will get it going soon.' they never did. They lost that game before they walked in the building because they assumed they won it before they walked in the building.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chris Kaman has always looked like Moses Malone against the Kings, only this season he's been taking his show everywhere in the league. Hopefully Spencer's game one day will look remotely like Kamans.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I suppose Ron will have a good game tonight, continuing his trend of good ron bad ron. I also think the team has a good chance of winning, because Reggie won't let them get in a slump. Kevin really needs to get his offense back. It seems he has hit one of his 3 or 4 game slumps where he is just really off. The Clippers game was his worst since last year probably. Another thing I noticed is that he isn't getting the calls that he got last year. Most of that is the Refs, because they are fouls, but Kevin has a tendency to over-act on some of the hits, and then if he doesn't get a call he just stands there looking puzzled and raising his arms instead of running back to play D.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Even though the Kings were horrible, Mikki Moore was dreadful. Fumbling away numerous passes that would have been easy buckets for him, and then when he does get an easy bucket he screams "And 1" and gets a tech. I dont think that should have warranted a tech, but the refs weren't very tolerant. Regardless, Mikki was the worst player on the floor. Ron recieved his second technical foul as a King, and I doubt he said anything to actually deserve it.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
John finally played a decent game, going back to his customary bench numbers. He is bound to have a pretty good game soon. I know we are trying to avoid one on one play, but he is our best player at that. He can drive, kick, and then the ball zips around the perimeter for another person to drive. John's skill set is more or less exclusive on the Kings meaning he is the only guy who can absolutely get to the rim every time he tries.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Kings are 5 LOSSES out of the playoff picture currently. So if the Kings hit a 5 game streak, which is possible, then they are right back in the picture. Also, if the Kings really feel like they can get into the playoffs, this game is a MUST WIN as far as standings go. I'd say it is a must win even without playoffs just because I want to be happy with them again.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
New Orleans is the top of the west halfway through. Anybody call that?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Iverson made a late surge to over take Tmacs starting all star spot. I'm happy because tmac didn't deserve it, but voting closed like a week ago. I think the NBA just put him there.

AWARD TIME

TDM doesn't really apply because we actually got beat by legit NBA players this time out. I'll give it to Al Thornton, who is basically Maggettes ticket out of town. He isn't exactly a scrub though.

LW-VC went to Beno because he didn't have any impact positive or negative out there.

RA And1 Award goes to Ron because he chucked more than a woodchuck could chuck

WTF moment of the game goes to Kaman's 11 boards in the 1st quarter... I suppose it helps your rebounding numbers when Tim Thomas is your starting 4.
Also why in the world is Quinton Ross starting? I don't credit him at all for Kevin's bad night because Kevin missed pretty open shots all night. He might be the worst starter in the league with a better option on the bench. You could even move Maggette to the 2 and start Thornton. wow.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Jazz are up. They are having a subpar season by their standards, but any other year they would still be in the playoff picture with their record.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Kevin - snap out of it
Mike - sorry you aren't playing with CWebb anymore. Mikki can't catch those
Ron - what the hell man
Brad -i kinda feel bad for you
Mikki - hands of stone
Salmons - meh
Cisco - great fantasy contributor once again. thats like the third game with more or less the same numbers
Beno - ?? whats up man?
rest - mateen

coach T - keep em together
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Jazz are tough, but the Kings style is tough for them. TDM goes to Millsap, LVC award goes to Deron Williams. hopefully.

And I'm not. We're not as bad as we looked against the Clips, IMHO, but it brought us back down closer to Earth. Our blowout against the Nets was just as far from the median as our loss to the Clippers. I think the reality is somewhere in between. We needed the sour of Wednesday's game to keep us from a diabetic coma after Tuesday's game.

:)

I hate it when Artest starts the game settling for jumpers. It sure looks as though he could be very productive in the low post tonight or driving against Boozer, who seems to look more like a matador when Ron is heading his way.

My prayers to Mikki and his fiancé - but I think Napear was way out of line to make the "well documented" comment.

You have to pace Justin. If not, the "IQ of a box of rocks" part of him takes over.
