We are mediocre.
And what's worse, we are boring.
And what's even worse than that, we really don't have a hell of a lot of room to grow and get better.
yuck.
I miss my excitment...
Me too. I have a feeling that we are in for a long time of that. We just have to hold on and wait for better days.

The fact that the last part is true makes me just as sad. At least he is still trying. I know that I am grasping. The King's optimist in me gives me no other choice.

it appears to me that Mike has had a game of Horse going with Martin and Garcia the last few games. either of those guys makes a long shot, Bibby immediately takes the ball down on the next possession and jacks up a similar shot...and misses. I think he's developing into a real head case.

Yah keeping Martin out for 8 or 9 minutes at a time is the players when were trying to come back.

His coaching style sucks, but we can't blame it on him.. we have alot of work to do if we want to get at least 8th in the playoffs

Theres no doubt that its the players aswell but I'm not going to lie to myself, he is a terrible coach, he shows no enthusiasm to win, no passion and it seems like he dosen't think about any moves he just randomly does stuff.

I noticed that Brick did not start his Grades Thread. I say that we really do not NEED to do grades tonight. Maybe we could just pretend that it is just the preseason. No grades needed.

Yeah, it's the players alright. Not like they have any confidence in this coach......nor do I.
What bothers me the most? These guys are making really really big bucks to stink up a basketball court. It isn't as if there is no talent on this team, but you wouldn't know to watch them. It may be the players, but the coach is responsible.

I cannot buy that. He is a young coach, he had 1 team before. Do you honestly think he doesn't want to win? He is trying to get to know the team just like the team knowing him. That is such an unfair statement.
Put it into perspective. Do you expect Salmons to be scoring 30 points? Do you expect Douby to be playing 20 min?
When your main guys cannot hit a shot, and do nothing but take 3's then your limitied. Eventually he will have to take controll of that.

Just shaking my head... Sorry 6th no disrespect meant.
BTW Last year we were 10-13 at this point! We had bonzi and actually our team did look a little better. Lets be fair as last year at this point everyone was calling for RA's head.

That stinks, too! It seemed to last FOREVER this summer with nothing really to show for it. I think that it will be even LONGER this year, but maybe it will be more productive.
You know things are NOT going well when it is Dec and we are thinking about TDOS instead of playoffs!

I honestly thinks he gives up way to easy and makes alot of mistakes a coach shouldn't be making, who cares if its his first year he should know the basics of being an nba coach, his substitutions are terrible, defensive sequences he calls are barely ever right, just makes alot of stupid choices.
