Dont get me wrong..we needed this win BADLY ...no matter how..but this made me almost more skeptical about the rest of our season...i mean...its the Jazz....The JAZZ.....
That kind of perfomance against a ranked team...well...we all saw the first quarter in LA..
...and LA sucks....imagine the chaos against The spurs (or whoever we get in the playoffs barring we make them..which looks good at the moment)
I am way passed that stage. I don't really get tense anymore. maybe I just don't worry that much. After surviving WCFs in 2002 - I just kinda take it and move on. Kings are the definition of the Murphy rule. Once - You accept it - it is easy from there
Hey, the Jazz got 20 turnovers, that's pathetic for any team.... and is part of why they lost the match-up. Also, the Jazz are better than their record IMO. Injuries and some offense problems have hurt them.
We should know that from the last 2 or 3 road games.
Regardless, it's always especially great to keep a team that's chasing you, down.
wasn't a pretty win at all, the jazz shot horribly from the FT line, that's the only reason we won. AK with 10 blocks? Take it hard to the hole or go home.

By looking at the boxscore, you would think it is a miracle that we won this game. Kirilenko is simply very very good at what he does, which is pretty much everything.
If we beat the Jazz (they are a good team) at their house playing and shooting this badly with Kirilenko and Boozer destroying us, imagine how much we would by win if we played good. That is the difference between this Kings team and the ones from years before-- the current team is very good, just not very consistent. If they were we would be scary. I think the consistency will come as the players get more of a feel for each other.
If we had played good, they would have probably shot better than 20-36 from the FT line and committed less turnovers - the result probably would have been the same.

LOL...can you tell me the last time we got a win in Utah that looked pretty? Yes, it was the Jazz...THE JAZZ!!! Don't forget, we're not all that much better than them, record-wise. The fact that we can win the ugly ones is heartening to me. Those are the kind of wins we'll have to grind out if we plan to go anywhere in the playoffs...especially if we draw the Spurs.
