Ray Mac has to get backup minutes, only reason I think Jimmer is getting minutes is they are trying their hardest to showcase him before the trade deadline. Ben put two nice games together, hopefully he builds from it.

I used to always try to give jimmer the benefit of the doubt but he really hasn't made the most of his opportunity. he's getting somewhat more consistent minutes but he seems to only play well in one of his stints in the games. either a good first or second stint and pretty bad the other. he just needs to be the spark plug scorer off the bench and have that scoring mentality and stop over dribbling or dribbling into trouble. I always wished he would work out and thought he needed more playing time. I still believe he is kept on a short leash but he really didn't make the most of his opportunity tonight when he was forced minutes

What does he offer over McCallum besides the very occasional 3pt shooting hot streak?

Its very clear even with his lack of experience Ray at this very moment in his career plays defense leaps and bounds better than Jimmer, also handles the ball and passes much better, and isn't a liability to turn the ball over or get trapped every time he touches it

The only thing Jimmer offers is experience. I think Ray was picked to replace Jimmer and very well may be a decent pg. We'll see.

Damn it, I hate when they cut off before the post-game... I would totally pay extra for that.

Best part of the Malone interview was his opening comment, when he quipped that apparently the Utah fans don't care for his style of coaching. :p He went on to explain that using the foul to slow down the game and earn a possession is something that works, and that's why coaches use it.

Jimmer has more experience but he sure doesnt show it out there. Ray McCallum looks way more comfortable and composed with the ball than Jimmer ever has

You should have been around in the early days of the Sacramento Kings. This game wouldn't even rank in the top 20 of worst pro games. :p

The 59 point game in Charlotte back in the L-Train, Travis Mays, Anthony Bonner & Duane Causwell days immediately came to mind!! Not to mention the one and only Dick Motta!
