The day that the Draft Lottery is held is always a very anxious day for me. It's really weird. It's right up there with the anxiety I would get from watching a Kings-Lakers series 10 years ago. It just always seems to be a huge let down and I'm depressed for a few days afterward. Anybody else feel like this too?

Yep 100% I was already feeling un easy yesterday and the nerves are in play big time today.

I hate watching it too, seeing Adam Silver with that intense music as he opens the envelopes just adds to the fear.

Yes, although its a little less anxious this year, for me. I was so disappointed by dropping the last two years. Also, I'm still down in the dumps over what happened with the arena deal.

I may not be really excited, unless we actually move up.

By the way, even if Adrienne got us the first pick, nothing could induce me to like her or watch any of the "Housewives of Wherever" shows. I have to protect the brain cells I have left.

Question....if you could be guaranteed the #3 pick right now, would you take that or would you take your chances and proceed with the lottery?

Our mean draft position is 4.84, so 3 beats our expectation. Normally I'd say take it without even thinking, but that would mean throwing away a 7.5% chance at Davis so I'd have to think about it. Still, if you don't take the guaranteed #3 pick, there's a 75% chance you regret it.

I believe the lottery is 1am UK time. It's 8pm NY time.

I think I'll stay home. I can be just as disappointed at home as anywhere else if we end up with the 7th or 8th pick, God forbid.

And to fill that SF hole of ours that we've had since trading Artest. I wonder how many "useless" SFs we've had since then (just count all).

Can't have too many. Forecasts show there will be a sf shortage in the near future. Best stock up while they're plenty
