I've passed kidney stones...this is waaaayyy more painful.

The main difference, I would think, is the relief after the passing of the kidney stone. I don't see any relief on the horizon for our team right now...

But I still love them. Much as a parent loves a very uncoordinated child trying out for little league.

It might actually be a blessing in disguise. If you believe that things have to get to rock bottom before they can start to look up, the fact we took another big step towards the geological basement could be interpreted to be a good thing...in the grand scheme, that is.
