It's fun to look back at some of the "I can't believe the Kings don't believe in analytics" articles based off that stellar Sportando report.

Sure, a team owned by a guy who made his fortune crunching data suddenly would allow his team to abandon analytics completely. How that that story grew legs is beyond comprehension.

There certainly are any number of legitimate reasons to question the Kings under Vivek. But to believe they would abandon things like "numbers" and "stats" was just way out there.
