Beautiful day up here in the forest, if you can get past the howling wind. Still patches of snow on the ground and indications winter isn't quite finished with us yet.

The garlic chowder has apparently lost its effectiveness so I'm trying something different to go along with the purple slippers. We'll see if a nice split pea with ham soup (with the requisite garlic, of course) does the trick.

Udrih with the steal, he's on the run and is pulled from behind by Udonis Haslem. He misses his layup and falls into the basketball support and the Heat have the ball. Udrih slow getting up; he talks to Derek Stafford but to no avail. On the other end, Heat called for traveling. Reggie Theus is now talking to the officials as they go to a time out and commercial.

I may or may not be back for the second half. Quite frankly, I'd rather go watch snow melt in the dark with a flashlight than continue to watch the total lack of focus and effort I'm seeing. It's not like they're not trying at all, it's just like they're playing because their contracts say they have to.

I watched part of Big Brother and had the game in the PiP window, thanks to my DVR.

As the Kings started closing in, I swapped pictures and then just quit with Big Brother for the moment. (It's recorded, though.)

I couldn't come back to the board for fear of jinxing whatever was going on...

Dang, I LOVE THIS TEAM!
