Hopefully in this drafy we get Monroe from Georgetown and Rautins from Syracuse. Monroe could be the next Webber and Rautins could be a steal in the second round. He just does all of the little things we need.

Wow, just wow...couldnt have put it ANY better...what the heck happened to our 30 pt scorer?? If found, please return him to Sacramento, he's still our property!
Kevin Martin went out a 30 point scorer... He came back as Quincy Douby.

I think he would, at this point...it would at least extract a lifeless Martin and insert Emeka and would put Casspi back in the starting lineup.

WTF does Westphal tell these guys at half? That they are just going thru the motions and they should be playing at an NBA level? It doesn't look good and this has been a very disheartening road trip.
On the Center Front. Brockman was unable to contain Oneal (whose 2 really bad knees make him almost immobile. I would bet that C-Webb would beat him in a one on one game!!)to start the game. When they brought in Hawes, things didn't get any better. So now PW is playing the game with NO center....and we are down 20 at the half.
I sure hope the rumor mill starts churning up more about the Kings, because of all the teams that are rumored to be trading, the Kings have the most glaring need. They desperately need a center!Funny thing is if you hear a rumor about the Kings and a trade, it is almost always totally wrong because Petrie doesn't let rumor info leek out. He plays his cards closer to his vest than any other GM.
But lets face it, the Kings can't win with the "Small Ball" lineup they are forced to put on the floor, so they HAVE to trade for a Defensive minded center to compete in the league. The are NOT COMPETITIVE with the small ball lineup they are using now. NOT COMPETITIVE = MORE EMPTY SEATS AT HOME.
Is anyone watching the halftime special on Brockman at home? That is really not all that interesting to me. They are really scraping the bottom of the idea barrel. How about a halftime piece on Slamson's cage and who gets the honor of cleaning it on a weekly basis?

It's not like one player is going to turn this around, it'd goin to take everyone to turn this team around. You trade Martin, then who plays the two. We need players to find their shot again, we're just in an offensive funk for the past two weeks.

You forget that Cisco is coming back in the next couple weeks, and he hustles and is team oriented.
I rather have anybody else play the two right now. Martin is getting beat off the dribble by everybody!

Yup, and THAT my friends is what's holding us back...before he was inserted back in the lineup we were playing with heart, then Martin comes back and everyone gets all flustered and doesnt know what their roles are OR his. We are a clueless team right now.
Looking at the boxscore, the Kings have 9 assists, 4 fast break points, 2-7 from 3 are being out rebounded by 6. Their game, just some 15 games ago, was working the boards as a team, pushing the ball and being willing to take the three. That's all gone. Both Orlando and Miami have run a better break than the Kings. They aren't passing and not pushing, and the D is even worse with Martin.

Yeah cisco is coming back but, this will be the first time he plays all year, don't you think he will be in a rust as well. I'm not saying to keep Martin, I'm just saying lets give it the rest of the year, if it don't work fine trade. Did everybody think as soon as Martin came back, he'd be lighting teams up from jump street.
