I think the reverse. I think they sat him hoping they could trade him and the team moved on with others until they realized moving Richaun is going to be next to impossible now. Hopefully that can change at some point or Holmes becomes a super valuable part of the rotation.

I think it was more of a "we'll work with you to get you out" kind of meeting. I really thought he was going to be a solid part of the rotation after that but it never looked that way until now.
