Basically, losing to the top-tier basketball teams in the NBA on the road or 2 of the best West teams at home.The Knicks game (sans Fox) and the MIA are the only 2 I see in this list that stand out as poor losses.

Yup! Nothing to be too worried about honestly, considering how far we've come in just a year. If they fixed every weakness overnight they'd be a 60 win team, but, obviously it takes time.

Even the Wizards loss in reality is not a bad one at all they have gone on a run (won 5 straight) and talent wise they're a good team who is underachieving.

I didn't really notice this was a thing until Ja kept doing it yesterday, but I wasn't paying attention to the clock. Why the hell don't they just start the shot clock after the ball has been inbounded if the clock is running. If the clock is stopped, they can walk the dog.

it’s annoying and has been going on for a while now. Jokic was doing it last yr with a lead against the Kings in the 4th, every time he’d inbound he’d purposely act like he was walking to get the ball but “accidentally”kept kicking the ball further away from him shaving an extra 5-10 seconds off the clock each time.

Every level of basketball has always been like this. The shot clock doesn't start until the ball has been touched. I can see them changing it though as this is bad for the game.

On the Jokic stuff, I think this is an easy fix. Any time a player "passes" the ball to a ref when it's a live ball and not necessary for the ref to touch the ball, they need to call a delay of game warning. The whistle will stop the clock and defeat the purpose for the Jokic's of the world and 2 delays and it's a technical foul. Same thing when he's pussyfooting around with the ball and the clock is running. Problem solved.

Fox generally has never gotten those calls. I'm not sure why he would suddenly, especially on Memphis's home court. That midrange shot has been automatic for him this season. He most certainly developed it because he doesn't get the calls. Feels very chicken and egg thing to me.

Fox may not get the calls that other stars get but he still gets himself to the line quite a bit. I'm not ok with him simply not even trying to draw fouls because he feels like he's treated unfairly. He needs to force it. Especially when they play a team like Memphis. This Memphis team exposes how incredibly soft the Kings are.
