It's nice to see that Hawes is going to be there. That's probably 3/5ths of our regular season starting lineup plus Greene and Casspi, one of which could be a starter soon as well. It'll be good for them to start building some chemistry together right away.

Interesting that Coachie is going to be the head coach of the summer league team. It looks like Petrie wants them indoctrinated to the Kings style of basketball right off the bat. Probably fun for Pete to get his hand back in the fire, even if it is summer league.

cool. He is really the only BIG man besides Jason and Spencer.

I wouldn't expect a whole lot from Bryant. He worked to get in better shape but is still ridiculously slow and unathletic. He has an effective post game but its mostly built on being bigger than everyone else. He's a case of a guy that has nba type skill but lacks the physical abilities to probably stick around in the league.

We did well there with those invites -- several long shot possibles. Wrong Calathes though. ;)

Yeah I looked at the roster and thought to myself wow "were gonna win it ALL!!!!" summer league 2010 CHAMPIONS!!!

LOL! its one of the best looking summer league teams i've ever seen... I like that Hawes is there with JT. Give them both a head start to build some chemistry with Tyreke Evans....

You know, thats actually one of the things im really liking about this team is the willingness in Hawes case to play in the summer league and with the others putting in the time working out and other efforts to improve.

Looks like big John Bryant gets his chance, too!

I was hoping that someone would give him a break. Dunno that Coachie will give him any minutes, but we'll see.

Not the lineup I would have hoped for, but not bad. I note that we even got Ronnie Price's successor at Utah Valley, which is kind of... bizarre. Does one of our scouts live in Orem?
