So David adelman and Rick adelman as his assistant?
As long as we can call them Dadelman and Sonelman
So David adelman and Rick adelman as his assistant?
What do we really want out of our choice? I was listening to KBP and they were profiling the three younger guys. Ham was identified as an enforcer and accountability guy. Lee was pegged as the smoother outer positive reinforcement type who is also the most charismatic. Hardy is a steady riser who has worked his way up the ranks. In the sound bites he came across as humble and a little bit of an Aw shucks dude. I don’t mean in an insulting way but always heaping the praise on others while not propping himself up. Is that just humility or is he not cut out to be the top dog? “We need a supreme commander not the Dave Clark 5”
I don’t know.
Yup won a ring in ‘03Darvin Ham also played for those mid 2000's Pistons teams no ?
So I assume he understands defense well
Sadly Bagley is no longer here because he broke the glass when dunking as well during his time as a player!Darvin Ham also played for those mid 2000's Pistons teams no ?

Would that mean there’s a dumars connection too?Darvin Ham also played for those mid 2000's Pistons teams no ?

I'm all for this type of coach, but, to be fair, one of the reasons why Joeger got punted was because he tried be an enforcer and accountability guy.
And if that is the type of coach that the Kings are looking for, the absolute best candidate is Ben Howland. Though, as I said before, I think there will be a Sprewell incident within 12 months, because of Howland's style. Very narrow pool of players, who truly thrive in his system. For every Russ Westbrook or Norm Powell there are Honeycutts or Drew Gordon's who can't take it.
Yup, it also means he was on the No Name team that punked Kobe, Shaq, Malone and Payton and that always makes me smile.Would that mean there’s a dumars connection too?
have to imagine there will be a lot of interest.Seems likely Snyder gets canned with the first round loss.
Legit offer him the biggest coaching contract in the NBA. Top 5 coaches don't become available. Make the splash

You think he's top 5 ?
I always thought the Jazz would make it farther but never did.
Is that in spite of Snyder or was he part of the issue ?
I really don't know, just asking
Well looks like Snyder is available
if he is fired, I wonder if he take a year off. The downside to that is there might not be many openings in the near future as it appears a lot of teams have long term coaches in place. These are the places who don’t now or potentially in the next year plus:
Sac
Charlotte
San Antonio - if Pop retires next year
Brooklyn- if they fall apart
Philadelphia- if they have some weird collapse
Utah
Washington
New York
Atlanta
Houston
Every other franchise has a coach they plan on riding with long term imo. 6 of the 10 teams who have question marks are still more likely to stick with their guy for a couple years.
that doesn’t leave many openings
Ainge gonna tear down the Jazz and just sit on a decades worth of assets until he's run out of town again?
He'd be stupid to pass up on the Kings if they are interested. Talk about low to no pressure, a PERFECT building block combo for his system in Fox/Sabonis, and a perfect scenario for a coach whose resume is basically getting a team up to a certain level then failing. Literally all he would have to to is get into 6-8 and we're talking parades in his honor.
It certainly would seem like a sensical move if you believe Monte has the franchise headed in the right direction but I could see him going to Charlotte or waiting a year for Portland or some team that doesn't have Sacramento's dysfunctional stench all over it. Those teams are going to have higher aspirations and he may run into a wall though. He'd be stupid to pass up on the Kings if they are interested. Wow, he’s 55?!? I woulda guessed mid 40s. Still a good age for a coach obviously, I just thought he looked younger than 55.one could hope but I don’t know what his ambitions are. I was surprised to find out he is only 55. I always thought he looked like an older mafioso who aged well but he’s basically still a baby.
Especiallly since De’Aaron isn’t actively trying to avoid passing the ball to Sabonis like Donovan was doing with Gobert. There's a thing Sac has over other teams, the Fox and the Ox. That trade for Sabonis might just come in REAL handy this summer for a coach like this in particular. All the things he couldn't do with Gobert? Yeah, thing of the past. Mitchell is a good, good G, but say hello to Mr. Fox. More true PG and quicker than anyone in the league. Those high pick and rolls he likes to run just became insane with these two.
Considering he looks like a disgruntled stock broker who just lost 150 million dollars on a bad investment and is enjoying one last bender before offing himself, he could have been any age between 30 and 75 and I wouldn’t have been surprised.Wow, he’s 55?!? Honestly all I want is a coach the forum can agree on if it fails that this time they will blame the "star" players.
