[Fear the Putin]

is it me or has our official site not been re-designed in years?

i mean ive been looking at a lot of teams pages and even portlands page looks pretty good.
Our page has been the same for a couple season already.
There is nothing in there that is worth looking at, or AT LEAST something that pulls us in there.
Look at the rockets page, they even have a video before their site loads. Hawks have some effects on there also.
Not saying its important or anything, but can the maloofs hire new web designers for our official page?

The Kings web-page is garbage, IMO. T'Wolves/Rockets/Blazers/Magic have much better sites.

I agree the Kings website is pretty bad. Well, not bad, just not updated very often. It's starting to as of late though.

Its just really simple, a little too plain, they should revamp the whole thing.

The Kings.com website is part of three websites run. Arco.com, monarchs.com, and of course Kings.com. The NBA has to approve all graphics, and content that go up on these sites from what I have heard.

I know a really good designer who has put in bids to do their website, and this is the info he relayed to me. It's probably not going to get any better until they bring in some talent and devote it to all three.

Redesign

Stay tuned...Kings.com is in for a total redesign shortly, it's being worked on as we speak. They have decided to drop some real money into it and a whole staff has been hired to run it.

There should be some new features that no other sports teams have

That'll be cool; I've spent a fair amount of time comparing Kings.com and Monarchs.com to other teams' websites and thinking the same thing that some of these other guys have been thinking: that we're not keeping up with the Joneses...

the banner is different and they just used photoshop to make a new button that is located on the top right corner...i used to do that in school during my computer class, lol

If you read back into the thread, you will see that someone is supposed to make changes. Man, I hope that what just came up is not the extent of the changes. It looks different, but not better. If that is the best they can come up with, they should have a contest to see which fan can design the nicest site. Season tix for three or four years as a prize!
