well, the peja scoring 30 thing came from this board... and no matter what, someone on our bench needs to step up because tag isnt doing much of anything though he did grab 7 boards.

well, somone will soon enough find something else to pick about peja,
but i don't care, he's my hero in my book

GO KINGS!

I would like to point out that Webber started off horrible from the field. When was the last time he started off that bad and completley turning it around. He finished over 50% going 8-9 after his rest in the 2nd. That is great to see someone having a bad game completely turn it around. We don't see that much as kingsfans. Congrats to Miller getting 1 rebound in the 1st half and 9 in the 3rd quarter and a few min in the 4th.

wtf???

Tag didn't do anything? Did you watch the game? Tag provided a spark, and it turned into a wildfire! He's been playing better and better the last few games, I hope he keeps it up! The bench carried us out of that valley .. we were way down! that was a great sign! He got the crowd fired up that was sweet!(and important). Good game Tag!

the craziest thing about the game was, that webber was our best scorer... he shot over 50% scored 18 points without a single freethrow, crazy...

I disagree, as soon as Tag cam into the game the pace slowed down, penetration by Boston virtualy dispeared and the Kings started to get back into the game.

Do you even have a clue about why Tag was brought in? To get rebounds, to clog the paint, to block shots and alter others, etc.

He's working very well and he's does EXACTLY what Petrie and Adelman expect him to do...

Kings are 6 - 0 when
he leads Kings in scoring

I don't believe it. The Kings had a wonderful game after a completely horrible start and some people can't be happy with it? Whatever...

THIS Kingsfan is a very happy camper right now!

--Really great analyssis! This was a horrible start but an encouraging game! Webber is really coming through! Brad definitely showed why he is an All-star tonight!

Adelman, in the post-game interview, said he got mad at the guys after the first quarter and told them, "If you want to keep playing that way and lose the game, fine. You know what to do and how to correct the problem." He said he was totally frustrated because they just acted like they weren't ready to play. "Our game started at 6 p.m.," he said. "Not 7...or 7:30."

BTW, this comeback was the second best in Arco history.

But I guess it doesn't count because we didn't hold the Celtics to less than 100.

;)

Someday people are gonna figure out Webber is the most talented player on the Kings... Period.

I just want to use this opportunity to thank Danny Ainge for doing " such a great job" and giving us Darius Songaila :D

And that, dear piksi, is something we can completely and totally agree upon!!!

Thank you, Danny Ainge, and THANK YOU Geoff Petrie for whatever you spiked his soda with that day.

:D

I think that Ainge is capable of doing it without "help from outside"

he just has an eye for the talent

tags rebounds arent the issue, as we all know the minute that the playoffs start peja stops scoring, christie doesnt score enough as it is and someone usually gets injured. i just meant that he wasnt doing anything offensively, vlade could score.... i should have clarified that. hell, divac was usually the first person to score and hit a freethrow on the team.

Now I really like Vlade but - Vlade and "hit freethrows" do not go in the same sentence

Tag was not brought in to bring any sort of offense to this team, aside from what he can get for himself cleaning the glass. Vlade's replacement is Miller. Miller is quite capable of scoring. What the guys on our current roster lacked was BEEF in the middle, hence the reason Tag was brought on board. I think you will see Tag get more and more comfortable with this team (his first other than Utah) as the year progresses.

its still early, but.... at least i'm still happy about the win.

i shouldnt have said hit... he took freethrows early on in the game... tag doesnt even want to, if you seem timid compared to divac....

i am.... but i wont be truly happy until the team passes up the suns.... and take the division.

Um, not to quibble, but we don't WANT Tag attempting free-throws.
