Didn't Bricklayer propose this exact trade?

And why in the world would the Celtics give up their best trade asset for Larry Hughes????

If he did, I missed it..

Ratliff's not even close to their best trade asset..

Jefferson, Pierce, Allen, Green, Gomes, Rondo are all lightyears ahead of Ratliff in value.

Not by themselves they're not. It's Ratliff PLUS those guys. Ratliff is crucial to getting a good veteran in a deal because he's an expiring. Otherwise it's just a guy on a rookie contract for another guy on a rookie contract, and that wouldn't get them anywhere.

And I'm sure other teams are just as eager as can be to grab Ratliff with Green/Gomes/Powe/Pruitt/Allen etc etc etc....Allen/Pierce are the staples and Jefferson will only be moved for KG...I don't see any other teams ponying up a better player for Ratliff and the C's overhyped youngins. Hughes is one of the better and more realistic options available IMO.

Here's the thing though. It's a huge expiring contract and I'm not really sure it's moveable unless you take someone's crap back.

Cavs and kings would have to be sendin some picks to C's inorder to get that deal done smills...

like i said b4 no way does C's trade their expirings for crap in Hughes. Ainge would go down as THE WORST GM in the history in the nba if he pulls this trade off.

The only way i see this trade going down is if again we along with Cavs send some picks to the C's

So....
C's get
Hughes
1st rounder from cavs (no protection)
1st rounder from Sac(top 20 protected)

They'd be better off trading for Bibby and we'd be better off staying far FAR away from Telfair.

Is Telfair our starting point guard then? Ouch. Nice front court full of mixed nuts though. How do you spell turnover?
