Started getting tired of the same old textual write-ups so I decided to try something different. And since I didn't want to subject you to minutes of my ugly mug, cute animals it is:

So, according to people at the game, our team was goofing off during pregame:

Accordingly, the Wizards surprised us out of the gates in the first quarter:

Things continued to slip in the second quarter:

So our guys had to refuel at halftime:

Third quarter was sorta more of the same:

In the fourth quarter, we tried to mount a furr-ious comeback but ultimately lost our growl down the stretch:

We thought the door was open but you can say that the Wizards effectively kept us locked out:

Tonight's Game
Game three of our road trip. If it's any consolation, there's really not a chance that Cuz and Rudy could play any worse than they did against the Wizards.

The Cavs are in the midsts of a complete and total meltdown. Their trade for Luol Deng having thus far been completely ineffective, the franchise has since fired its GM, which doesn't really change the fact that Dion Waiters and Kyrie Irving are a completely mismatched backcourt, especially with the offensively inept Mike Brown as their head coach.

With absolutely no set interior presence, the Cavs are a perimeter team through and through, unless going to Tristan Thompson down low is your idea of a successful inside game.

And no matter how bad Ben McLemore has looked at times this season, just take solace in the fact that he wasn't Anthony Bennett.

Prior to the trade the question was about talent, while we still could upgrade the talent the bigger issue/question is the players effort which is rather sad considering a number of things.

1# They all have something to play for even if we have zero chance of making the playoffs
2#The players who have been with the team beyond short term got a fresh start and a owner who cares and is trying to do things for the team and NBA.
3# The team was saved from moving to Seattle
4# You would think they would be sick of losing
5# A non idiot for a coach who has been part of winning cultures

I just cannot understand how with all these factors they come out and put up back to back pee weak efforts (were not even back to back games so no excuse for fatigue). Honestly we need a couple other guys with fire in them on this team. We need players who don't quit and don't like losing.

Well, Cavs snapped out of coma after the firing and beat Grizzlies and Wizards in two tight games, so they are able to hang around with PO teams and finish them off, if this trend to be believed, so at this point I wouldn't bet against them on their court. Plus they have arguably the best instigator to get currently unbalanced Boogie all riled up.

Your dog protects you and makes you feel smart, and your cat reminds you that you have to work to maintain relationships life, so really being the best of the worst is a good thing!

Real concerned about this game. The team has to get it together and I am losing faith.

You have to accept who is master and who is subject when you own a cat. Don't be deluded into thinking you are training them. They are training you. Right now I am sitting on a couch with two beautiful Javanese cats purring on my lap. I am happy to provide them an adequate seat. It's my job. As a reward, they keep me warm and give me a tickly sensation with the vibration of their purring.

I'll get some pictures of life as it is but the male weighs about 15 pounds and the female about 6 pounds. I can't move. Well, not without asking permission. They are beautiful blue point cats. Javanese is Siamese with long hair.

Especially after the Cavs lost at home last week to that pathetic Laker squad that actually ran out of players and had to leave Sacre on the floor with 6 fouls. They were the joke of the league

I think we need to get something out of the game. The team is falling apart. Winning or losing is not the most important goal AFAIC. We need to establish that we can play as a team. Playing Cleveland couldn't have come at a better time. If we focus on winning it will be the same old iso, ball hogging crap that is losing me. Let us see if IT can be that more traditional kind of pg that some people think is important. If he wants to be a starter, he has to change.

We should be embarrassed as a team the way we are.
