[Game] Kings @ Bulls - 15 MAR 2014, 20:00 EST, 17:00 PST

Man, this game was for the taking. DMC worked for all his points, D mostly showed up. If McLemore hits just ONE three, or if the Kings hit a few more free throws, things might go differently.

This team played to the end, and through some bad officiating. They could have melted; I'll give them credit for that.

Played decent defense, for a change, murdered them on the glass, had an... "acceptable" level of turnovers. Man, those fourteen points we left at the line sting.

Well, we stayed close against a great defensive D by playing some pretty good defense of our own. Too bad we made a couple big mistakes down the stretch. Nonetheless, it was a good game for us. Next up, Minny at home (I think).

Isaiah with his typical crapty game where where he gets his beloved points but his fg% and assist to turnover ratio is awful along with his defense and general awareness of the game. Awesome foul at the there dude

Michael Malone basically told reporters in Chicago after the game that Isaiah Thomas' foul on Kirk Hinrich late in game was not planned.
Michael Malone on the Isaiah Thomas' foul on Kirk Hinrich w/ 27 seconds left in the game:

From Chicago Bulls media relations:

“We wanted to trust the defense with the differential in the shot clock and game clock. We wanted to defend the shot, get the rebound, call a timeout, advance the ball and get a shot and maybe force overtime. These are always learning experiences and the best time to teach and learn is after a tough loss like this. Aside from that play, I’m real proud of our team tonight. I like how we competed and gave ourselves a chance to win. We were on the road against a very good basketball team so that is all I can ask from our guys. “
