For years Petrie chased Dalembert because he knows the big man NBA truth. Shooting guards and flashy small forwards are dime a dozen - even highly talented ones. It's so much harder to find talented big men, especially ones around 7 feet tall. Daly will be a major factor (although probably not an All-Star) on any team he lands on next season. It would be great to have him back on Kings, but probably only a remote chance at this point considering type contract he'll demand.
