Kings got back to the reality quickly as the Blazers needed someone to pay for 3 games losing streak. Kings dropped to 7-19 which is tied for 4th worst in the NBA. In the next 3 games Kings will probably take advantage of the opportunity to lose some more games and stabilize that position.

I would not be any good as a coach especially giving players mentality. I would make Jerry Sloan and Greg Popovic sound like Avery Johnson. I wouldn't last 10 games. Just a thought of being couple feet of Dickie B is very intriguing. I could coincidentally stretch my leg into his running path or something. Not to mention opportunity to throw stuff at refs, opponents etc. In one word I would be their worst nightmare. After losing the game in Portland by 30+ - I sure would have made them walk to Houston and would make Bobby carry everyone bag. When I lived in Europe - I coached kids soccer and it was fun mostly because I could tell them when they suck without all the "self esteem crap" issue. See when someone has no talent for something - he just hasn't. Simple as that.

Bobby lost it out there. It happens. Losing is hard especially on people who aren't used to. If I was 7-19 - I probably wouldn't be able to sleep. I am not excusing such dumb action but I kinda understand. Saying that his ejection changed the outcome if the game in some way has nothing to do with reality. We would have lost that game anyway. Maybe not by 30 - maybe only by 25.

Ironically coach less Kings will play Rockets coached by Rick Adelman. Name sounds kinda familiar - doesn't it ? Rich has his negative sides - that is for sure. However - for the 2 clowns that are currently being paid not to coach - he has invented basketball. And we deserve it. When You are not happy with the someone who has won so many games for You - You probably won't be happy with a coach who can't win any.

Being coach in the NBA is tough these days. Every day - You turn the TV on and one of them has lost his job. Some of them suck and we had couple of them too but for most part - it wasn't their fault. Coaches aren't magicians. When You are given pile of crap - You can be the best cook that ever lived - the cake You are making will still taste like crap. There should be a rule that when a GM hires a coach and then fires him because he had no talent to work with - the GM should go to.Also there should be a rule that You either can be one or the other but never do both. Works with Popovic and that is about it.

Only thing You need to know about Portland game is that we held them to 41% FG and lost by 32. How often did something like this happen in the NBA ever and how bad would have been if they shot what out opponenets usually shoot ? One could say that it was our 4th game in 5 nights and it would have been valid if we hadn't lost to Knicks at home by 24 already.

TDM goes to Joel Wiltzbilla who needed only 22 minutes for 7/14/3bl. Now extrapolate that to 35 minutes of usual starter and You can have a career game
LW-VC went as predicted to Aldridge. If You play kings and You only shoot 6-20 - your name is syrely not Al Harrington.
RA&1 went to Sergio Rodrigues. Any time I can give it ti a player from Spain and Argentina - I simply can not resist.

SAR - Methuselah - went to Brad which is upgrade to the Mikkis that he has been getting as of late.
Mikki - goes to QD because he even failed to do something in the garbage time

Houston has also injury problems. They are solid 8-3 at home, they just won in Denver and they have won 5 out their last 7 games. For us it is first game of the back to back set that won't get any easier. We don't even have a coach. What we have to do is not to drop the pants and bend over. We have been doing that too much as of late. We need to compete. Not sure who will tell that to the players but losing by 20+ most of the time is boring even for OKC or Minnesota.

Rockets are 16-9 playing for championship and we are just not in the same league. They have problems with injuries but they are still good enough. TMac had a triple double the other night. Brooks gets the TDM. Ron gets the LW-VC award. Kings make i competitive and lose by a 4th quarter meltdown.
