NBA.com (<---- that's a hyperlink) has the full schedule up.

A few notes:

We open with a three game stretch on the road again (!) but this time only one home opener (Minny) and the other two games (Nets, Cavs) are quite winnable. Our home opener is on Nov. 1 against another weak opponent (Toronto).

By a quick count, looks like 18 back-to-backs for us. (edit from miscount of 17)

October/November look pretty easy - 10 at home vs. 6 on the road, and only four games of those 16 (Lakers, @Suns, @Jazz, Bulls) against teams I think will be strong.

The 2011 portion of the season is more brutal. 30 on the road vs. only 23 at home. One 7-game trip, one 6-game trip, one 5-game trip. Four games in five nights three times, including the middle four of the six-game trip, and the first three (coupled with one home game) AND the final four on the seven-game trip. Ah, note that the seven-game trip is balanced around the All-Star break, so it's not quite so horrible.

The schedule is definitely backloaded. It would be nice if we came out at the beginning of the season guns blazing and in position for a playoff spot. It wouldn't even be unexpected, given the soft schedule we're starting with. But I think the 2011 portion of the schedule may grind us to a halt. Temper enthusiasm if we get off to a hot start.

They'll have a good chance to get off to a nice start in Oct/Nov. Home-heavy and only a few top teams.

Lakers coming to town early and it's gonna be televised on ESPN.

Not only that, but while it is a longshot wiht such a young team, our first four games are all against the league's patsies -- the two teams even worse than us last year (Minny, New Jersey), and then the two teams which got destroyed by superstar defections to Miami (Cleveland, Toronto). It is possible, I will stress possible (as opposed to likely) that we could enter our national TV debut Nov 3rd vs. the Lakers with an undefeated 4-0 record, whihc would put us in great position to create a buzz and maybe get more games added eventually (I counted a grand total of three true national TV games).

we get only 3 road games at the start instead of usual 4 and all 3 very winnable, we can actually go 4-0 befor the laker game - AWESOME!

To add to your "possible" outcome ... the Lakers will be on a 2nd night of a back-to-back.

If you're choosing between front- and backloaded, though, I'll take backloaded every time. Especially with a team as young as ours. Build momentum and confidence early on, and get roles defined and rotations consistent. That way, you hope that with an extra year of experience under their belts, the guys respond better than they did last season when the going gets tough.

I don't understand why they count NBA TV as nationally televised. By virtue, all 82 games are nationally televised if someone buys nba league pass.

You don't have to subscribe to LP to get the main NBA TV channel, as long as your system carries it, so it's more exposure than other games but not as much as TNT/ESPN.

Right. NBATV is just another cable channel, like TNT and ESPN. Not carried by every provider, but still just another channel.

Does anyone know when tickets go on sale for individual games?

From an email the Kings sent earlier today…
“On Friday, August 13, a historic sales event will take place in Sacramento. For the first time ever in the month of August, the Sacramento Kings are putting the first two games of the season on sale by offering fans the “Kings Tip-Off Two-Pack,” which includes tickets to both the Kings Home Opener against the Toronto Raptors on Monday, November 1 and the team’s first meeting with the World Champion Los Angeles Lakers, a nationally-televised contest on ESPN on Wednesday, November 3.
Due to the overwhelming demand for these games, Kings fans are advised to log-on to Kings.com or call 888-91-KINGS at exactly 10 a.m. on Friday for the live launch of the “Kings Tip-Off Two-Pack” with a special webcast featuring exclusive prizes live from the Kings Practice Facility.”

no, it's only 3 games. 1 on TNT, 2 on ESPN.

If you had a degree in Marketing, you'd understand... <imagine winky smiley here />

Yes, all true. One would definitely hope that confidence/other factors of starting strong could carry some momentum forward. A young team seems more likely to succeed with a backloaded schedule than a frontloaded one (though I'm not so sure the same holds for an established/veteran team that might benefit from late-season "coasting"). I'm just pointing out that we can expect to trend downwards after the early season, because momentum can only go so far and the second half of the schedule or so is brutal.

Place your bets now on what lineup change will be blamed by a segment of the fans in total disregard of the difference in schedule strength. ;)

Hopefully we're healthy all year and don't have any lineup changes in February.

I wasn't thinking in terms of injury, more like changes due to player development. Or Omri/Donte flip-flopping and then we get "When A started we were X-X, but with B starting we're only Y-Z!" posts.

Well, right now I'd have to bet on Cousins' insertion into the starting lineup coming right about the time the schedule gets tough. Thus, Dalembert will get credit for our strong start, and Cousins will clearly be the moping headcase putting our team in the tank. Fun!

True.

True.

Zomg! We is a group ticket special coming back? Last's years $68 dollar tickets for $13 bucks were pretty awesome.

We open on the road again, huh? Well, at least these games are winnable. Nice to see the Kings on TNT; twice even. Looking forward for the season to start!!! :D Go Kings.
