Dave has known Keith Brooks forever. I don't think he's pretending unfortunately.

I agree. But Dave is smart radio guy. He has to know what good radio is. ...And what good radio isn't.

I just hope this show exists as a way for Dave to get his foot back in the door at KHTK, and he will be on his own soon...

I feel for Dave because he finally got retribution and got back on the station he loves and they saddle him with an anchor in one of the most obnoxious douchebags of all time (Keith Brooks). Nothing worse than a dude around 40 (with teenage sons no less) that tries to act like a 22 year old "alpha bro". Keith Brooks' act is lame at any age but for a dude that is like 40, his act goes beyond lame to just sad. Dave is trying but when you have to co-host a show with that guy at best you get a tolerable show.

Carmichael Dave is a great radio talent and I used to love listening to his 9 PM show with Sean Thomas. He clearly has great chemistry with Sean Thomas and also had great chemistry with Don Geronimo. Keith Brooks is a dominant type personality that likes to be the focus of the show and almost every conversation. Why KHTK put him with Keith Brooks is puzzling......almost like they want him to fail but I guess we will find out soon enough. I think it's obvious that the vast majority of the listeners on KHTK will prefer Dave to Keith Brooks.......so you'd assume at some point they'll replace Brooks with someone a little milder in personality that allows Dave to be the 'focal point' of the show as he should be. If the show fails I really hope they don't hold it against Dave because absolutely nothing he can do about it......just listening the last few days he's clearly trying his very best and doing best he can.

PS: I'm not sure whether Kayte's breasts are real or not but one thing I do know is they are real nice.

When he said he keeps the stickers and tags on his hat I basically knew what kind of person he was. He sounds like an idiot too. Typical douchebag male that's 40, and trying to be 20.

I say Dave did the interview because the few comments Keith Brooks had to add were ridiculous. For example, Dave asked Granger why he decided to step down from the NBA hierarchy to come to Sacramento, while Brooks asked him if he was on speakerphone from the bathroom. I know Kings fans have called on the great God Naismith a lot over the past couple of years, but would it be okay to send up just one more request? Can we PLEASE get rid of Keith Brooks and let Dave pick his sidekick?

Please tell me he didn't. I choose not to listen to the interview because I don't want to waste time.

What these radio hostsw miss is that although they are not employed by the Kings, if the Kings organization won't let their guys go on the radio shows because of bad hosts, then they will lose their jobs. That was a bad choice by Keith.
