Consensus remains elusive now, and you know what you get when you don't have consensus? You get Brad Miller as the 9th greatest king of all time. :)

I voted J-Will. To have the talent and guts to come out rookie season in the NBA and even attempt some of the plays he did, right in front of Rick Adelman,... was an amazing thing to witness. Nobody since Pete Maravich...and with that said, he deserves some recognition.

Mad props to Tisdale but imo "White Chocolate" rounds the top 10 list out nicely.

  1. C-Webb
  2. Rock
  3. Divac
  4. Bibby
  5. Stojakovic
  6. Christie
  7. Cuz
  8. J-Will
  9. K-Mart
  10. Ron Metta Panda Peace Artest
Also Jason Williams had a big impact on Sacramento and the league. If you were growing up at the time of his early career in the league there was almost nobody who tops in in the cool factor at the time besides AI. All the kids wanted to mimic his game.

I'm confused. Is this your top 10? If so, it's definitely a case of "growing up at the time of his early career" as opposed to those fans who were around from 1985 on. There's just no way you could ignore the talents of guys like Theus, Tisdale and even the L Train.

That "elbow pass" in the rookie/soph game....and the behind the back whip pass to Stojakovic. Umm, yeah

One of the few guys who could actually give you goosebumps with his pure skill and creativity. Great times in Kings history. His first two years 98-2000. Electric

And for almost every one of those, there was bound to be sooner or later a pass into the third or fourth row of seats. Jason Williams was exciting and fun ... and unpredictable. He became a much more stable player while with the Grizzlies, but I've often said that I thought Hubie Brown broke his spirit. I'll always wonder what would have happened if he'd stayed. Would he have settled down enough to be the PG we needed him to be or would he have remained wild and untamed, possibly taking C-Webb down with him?

He wasn't going to lead us deep into the playoffs, so the trade made perfect sense for a rising power in the NBA. However, he was one of the most entertaining players we've ever seen. Afterall, pro sports is mostly about entertainment. J-Will had a unique way of entertaining, by making play after play that you've never seen before....or at least since Pete Maravich.

Also, trying to make him a more conservative and stable player was not the right thing to do,....because that's not what his talent was. You take away his flash and creativity and you take away his mojo. No mojo, no fun, no inspiration

I also witnessed that era of Kings basketball minus Theus who came and left the team when I was toddler. I'm not ignoring their talents but feel those guys I listed Edge them some by a narrow margin.

I also wanted to add, that J-Will had a lot to do with changing the negative feel that Chris Webber had about playing for the Kings that first year.

After playing with Jason for a while and seeing the creativity and "magic show", C-Webb was quickly having the most fun he had ever had in his career. He was inspired and it had something to do with kicking off that great run.

Those two started the whole first initial and first half of the last name thing. It was C-Webb and J-Will. Great times

C-Webb
Mitch
Vlade
Peja
Bibby
Cousins
Christie
Miller

My fav 8

I've got nothing against Tisdale, but Jason Williams was the reason I started watching the Kings. Along with Webber and Divacs and Peja, J-Will is probably one of the first names people think of when they think of the Kings.
