Not that it matters. People would rather whine than acknowledge a record-setting performance.
 
Martin's a good player, a really good player. Part of the solution for the Kings, not part of the problem. The best moves recently by the organization have been to get him re-signed to a long term extension, picking up Beno and hopefully re-signing him. Probably the only two quality building blocks that are solid enough to be on this team for several more productive years.
 
Its hard for me to not go blind homerism (whine) after watching the crappy performance I saw tonight.
 
I think the "any questions" format might be the issue here, because I do think there were a few. Great game for Kevin. But a) 48pts 1ast and nobody else got involved as we lost to a terrible team. And b) those last couple of hoops looked suspicously like us just trying to run up his point total.

So undoubtedly congrats to Kevin. But yeah, I have some questions.
 
Whatever. I give up. The "any questions" part has been a tradition since Webber came back from injury. I wasn't going to change it.

I don't care any more. Let people whine in every freaking thread.
 
Great game by Kevin, I wish he would always be that aggressive. It seems whenever Artest is out, Kevin goes out and has a great game.
 
I feel bad for the kid because he played great but on the other hand - I have never seen more meaningless 48 points scored in a single player in a game and if he scored 60 it still would not have been enough. It sucks He scored only 48 more than Brad
 
my only compaint...he didnt score 50 (50 is such a prettier number than 48) :p i think around the league kmart is highly under rated. sure his def isnt the greatest, but i think hes our future and im glad we can build the team around a player that can avg 20+ a night and can randomly throw up 40+ pts

I am completely on your side with the whole negativity thing. I usually hate to see upbeat threads be brought down by the cold reality of our real situation.

However, you asked if there were any questions, and indeed, I could give many.
 
Even in losing you should have something positive to point out, that is Kevin tonight, if all you care about is the negative then to me that's a painful way to watch this game.

Nice job by Kevin, he was the only consistent guy scoring.
 
48 points. Wow, that really is incredible! And to think, moving towards a better draft pick as well. Good times!
 
No Artest or Salmons on the floor and Martin goes crazy. Addition by subtraction. Now if we could just find some guys to play with him who can defend, we could win some ball games. Tonight, Minni's young team beat the Kings young team.
 
? Salmons played (albeit not well) If any of his team mates had decided to join in with Kevin, the game would have had a different outcome, though at this point in this season, would that even matter?
I stopped worrying about wins and losses a while ago, just too painful, as I am a VERY sore loser (as anyone who has attended games with me can attest)
Quite some performance from the young man, and for that, he deserves props, despite the failings of his team mates and the dismal season.

Congrats to Kevin on setting 5 new records, you won't hear me whining that it wasn't 6 or 7.

Kev was awesome for the most part. He wasnt as agressive late. Im sure he was a bit winded though.
