Oh what have I done?

The Holy Grail is my all-time favorite movie. I have worn out two VHS tape versions of it and finally got the DVD Special Edition. I still cannot watch it all the way through without having to pause while I laugh.
Kevin: Before I was working out about 5 days a week, and then shooting 6 days (a week). I was working out with Al every morning around 10:30, and then I went out and worked with the 3 assistant coaches. And it was just me up in there, so it was 3 against 1. You can imagine what they were doing. And then 2 nights a week, me and Bobby were playing on the Summer League team…whatever that SPDL is.
Grant: I got ya.
Kevin: We were playing in that. So that was a pretty “active rest time”, that what Al called it.
Grant: All right, so what do you do after Summer League?
Kevin: After Summer League, I’ll probably take just a little bit of time off. Then I’m kind of undecided, because I’ve got a personal trainer in Florida, but my game elevated so much from working with our 3 coaches (here). They’re going to be around, and I’ve got a house out there (near Arco), so might as well not waste the rent money and just keep on working and developing (here)?
Mike: Kevin, you talked about working with the trainer a couple or three times here, what are your goals physically? Do you want to bulk up? I mean do you want to jump farther? What is it about that working with the trainer that you want to accomplish? Because, you’re thin, and there’s no crime in that as long as you can play, but is it something that you want to address? Do you want to add a little weight?
Kevin: Not so much add weight, because I’m going to add weight as I get mature. But I played in the Summer League last year at 172 or 173, and this year I’m playing at 186 or 187. So that’s a 13-pound difference from Summer League last year to this year. And for my size, I’m pretty strong when people just bang on me. So I’m going to keep on developing some more strength and get mature.
Grant: The one thing I think that you could provide that this team really needs is defense. I mentioned several times when we were in China last year, I was very impressed with the way you guarded Tracy McGrady. I know it was only pre-season, but you like playing defense, don’t you? And I would think that this is an area that you could really excel in.
Kevin: Yeah. I think I’m a good isolation defensive player, cuz that’s all the league is. Once the shot clock gets below 10, it’s just iso. With my quickness and jumping ability, I feel like that’s where I excel at. But then again, I’ve also got the offensive game to back that up.

Oh yeah, and although some of you know this already, the "Al" whom Kevin was referring to in the interview is Kings Strength and Conditioning Coach Al Biancani.
Packt said:Hope the team runs some plays for him this season, instead of letting him float on the perimeter and play catch and shoot. He doesn't look comfortable at all, probably because his instincts are telling him to slash but the system tells him to shoot or pass. The catching and shooting will come, but I want to see him play on the ball more.
