i just cringe though when he takes the jumper... just way to inconsistent from outside...


id rather prefer him to drive to the hoop...

but yeah gotta cut him some slack for his d but really thought he'd bring something more to this team with his offense but i dunno he just can't really seem to get in the flow of the game...

just not explosive enough off the bench for us.. but yeah i kinda got used to bobby, so thats why i think i havnt really been impressed with jason hart at all this season...
 
Let him go .... I'm sure there'll be plenty of backup PG's out there to choose from when this season comes to an end :cool:

Looks like there's no simple formula, adding D minded player is not the solution. Although, House lacks D his O makes it up, I think he would give more minutes to rest Mike than Hart

Let him go for sure. Almost anybody would be good for backup PG but him. I am really disappointed in how he turned out. I hate to see him go in the game.
 
I'd rather get a combo guard or pg instead of an undersized SG, though would take House if we could get him. I really see him staying with the Suns though, he's found a home and a niche there.

One of Bell/Duhon/Claxton/Lue/Dooling/Mike James (likely wishful though) would be sweet. All can play at both ends of the floor just fine, and are good scorers/shooters.

I even cringe when he drives to the hoop. He either fumbles the ball and turns it over or gets his layup blocked.

what do you mean he didn't play well until the last part of the season. That is all we had him. we picked him up at the end of January. Hart had a camp and 2 months head start on House. So yes i would say its official Hart is a bust for us.

First couple of months House struggled mightily actually and many on here were pretty anti-House. Think it was March of last year post-trade when he really stepped up and had a long streak of strong play.
 
I don't grok the obsession with House at all. He's really not that good... and he's not a point guard, anyway; he's an undersized SG.

House isn't playing any better in Phoenix than he's played anywhere else; it's just that D'Antoni gives him carte blanche to jack up shots to his heart's content, as reflected by the fact that he's 5th in the league in shots per 48. He wouldn't have that kind of freedom in Sacramento.

Much rather have Bell, if it could be arranged.

neither was bobby jackson..... but he's quick, has range and can get his own shot.... we dont need a point guard, we need a point guard sized player....

and house can ball....
 
B-Jax is a combo guard. House is not, he's very good for what he is - an insant scoring undersized SG. But like I said before, would rather and think we go after a combo guard or PG. Hart was supposed to be the former, but has only shown some of that a handful of times on the season.

I ought to wash your mouth out with soap. House isn't half the player that Jackson is; he isn't even half the point guard that Jackson is... And, if we don't need a point guard, then why on earth would we need a "point guard sized" player? If we just want our backup guards to shoot, why not get one who's 6'5"?

No, House can shoot... at least when he has the benefit of playing in a free-flowing offense; that =/= "ball"

No thanks. We need to get a better back up PG that will give Bibby some genuine rest. Jason Hart is not it. Bibby has been carrying too big a load this year. He needs a solid back up.
 
house can play freely (gunning) bc they have several players who can handle the ball, diaw, nash who can get him the ball to shoot

Charlie Bell? The guy has been playing well since coming back in January, and when Ford/Williams have been out has played really good (Had a triple double in one of those games). I think he's one of the guys that is exacty what we need at back-up guard.
 
How about Kareem Rush?

We've got too many PGs at this point. We lack SGs. You think Kareem Rush would fit in? He ain't that bad actually.

His defense is horrible, his work ethic leaves a lot to be desired, and he's streaky. If he wasn't bad, he wouldn't have been traded fromthe Lakers for nothing and he wouldn't have been waived by the Bobcats of all teams. And what do you mean we don't have enough shooting guards? SG is our deepest position.

We are fine at swingman as long as Bonzi stays or we get another quality vet. in there if he is gone. Rush is athletic and a good shooter, but he wouldn't be one of the first some of guys I'd want us to go after, if Bonzi leaves. Rasual Butler/Jumaine Jones/Harpring I'd put before Rush.

Back-up PG is one of our definite holes. Can't just have Garcia/Price/Ron doing that for a whole season. Gotta get an actual good small guard to back-up Bibby, someone like I've mentioned previously.
 
Well, 10.1 PPG from the bench is I think what we need. Our bench is always scoreless. Aren't you guys getting sick of it already? Cavs got the men we need like Graham and Murray. Hope we can get these guys.
 
There wouldn't be any room for Graham, who's worked hard to get in the league and a spot with the Cavs. But he isn't a proven player yet, from what I've seen he's been a young hustle guy so far. I think he can be a very solid role-player though. Flip Murray I'd like off the bench, another undersized SG, but a really good one. As our back-up PG? I'd say no. I think the Cavs re-sign him given the impact he's had since coming there.

If Bonzi goes, we'll get a quality vet. swingman (like I mentioned above). If he stays, I doubt we get anymore swingmen with Martin/Garcia/Artest/Bonzi, possibly Monia, already on the team.

Now, it hasn't just been those 3, but they're stand-out ones. From a third PG, who came back from injury sometime in January and has been playing well.

He spent a few years in other pro-leagues/Europe (not from the hoopshype profile ;) ) after bouncing around in his rookie year. Then came back this year as the Bucks third-PG paid in the mid-100s in salary for a couple seasons. Obviously has paid off.
